I met many Ukrainians in Poland. Some have been forced to live in Poland because of the war, while others have returned to Ukraine, knowing the dangers. Many areas are still occupied by Russian troops. Evidence emerging from land recaptured by Ukrainian forces shows that Ukrainian civilians are subjected to war crimes in areas occupied by Russian forces. Indiscriminate attacks on all parts of Ukraine have also resumed. Continued assistance is needed.
