Sierra is actually from W.V, believe it or not. Her brother was my 1st boyfriend lol & back then she was a little girl. She was in a band 600lbs of sin with a guy I also grew up with, Josh T. & they're both (individually & together) seriously undiscovered pure magic! She was living in New Orleans last I heard, not sure about now, I think shes touring & recording an album or 2 which is AWESOME bcuz man! Her voice is something we havent heard in decades!🙌❣🎶

Sierra Ferrell is a Giant! Her vocal quality covers Winehouse, Peroux, The Carters, and beyond. A rare songwriting talent as well. She obviously has experienced some big pain. Listen to as much of this lady as you can.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to turn my friends on to her. It's good to see I'm not the only one who digs her tunes.

Her vocal phrasing in this is astounding. Her placement of accents on certain syllables and accurate intonation and ornamentation is so refreshing. This is a backwards pentatonic riff, yet so creatively applied. By the way, her entire new album is superb.

Its time to re-visit Sierra and check out something from her recent liver performances. She's got herself a super tight, very solid band and you can see her genius coming through in being a band leader. It's a spectacular show. I credit this reaction video for introducing me to Sierra. I came to know her from street performance videos, first in Seattle, then New Orleans. Unique voice and good songwriting. She moved to Nashville and worked her way into a record deal. Performs with bass and mandolin, sometimes fiddle. Love her praising and retro quirky style. Many live club date videos.

She is from Charleston West Virginia. My favorite song by her is rosemary. I love the story telling way she sings it. I'm not sure really how to describe it I dont know any musical terms but I think you would really enjoy it. Also I really enjoy watching your reactions to all these artists music is the one thing I can always turn to that gets me through the hard times I've been dealing with.
