Man, what a treat getting to watch you experience UM for the first time (as a full show, I know you had reacted to a couple songs prior). As someone that's been following them for a while now, it was fun for me knowing what you were in for while you had no idea. And how awesome that you went from this to sitting in with them less than a year and a half later! Keep up the great work you do, Michael!

You CAN pause the live stream. It will stop and start just like a normal YT video. It just wont be LIVE anymore once you do that. If you are just watching at home and are behind and want to catch up, just hit the Live button under the slider and you're back to where they are streaming live. You might think abiut upgrading your RAM and video card so it doesnt lag so bad when you stream a stream. You are watching this a second or two behind the audio.

And yes the Water they played in the first set was really good. That's a great one off local band does ok. Enjoyed your reaction to this btw. That's how I feel every time they play the peak. Just smiling watchen them go to work. Myers is an amazing drummer. They're all really good, but he puts it over the top. Come on up and see them at the peak some year. Worth the drive.

Thank you for this. It reminds me of my first show watching them. I knew absolutely nothing and my buddy swore by them. They are one of my favorite bands now. Being at one of their live shows is an experience that can’t be described. The level of musicianship that this band achieves is unparalleled. Seeing you break it down as it comes at you is great. Every show is different and each set within each show is different. They are on another level. Combine it with the lights and you have a true journey. So much going on and it just keeps getting better.

So, missed the live stream. But up late tonight catching the replay - gotta love the covid schedule! Mike can you pause live stream? There were a few moments when you were 'noodling' on the guitar and figuring it out (good luck with a band like UM and others who can improve like crazy) BUT.. Did you have some moments of 'wtf just happened'... and wanted to either take a minute to explain what you just saw or let us all know what musically just happened. Not all of us watching are heavy musicians in the sense of we could every play what were watching... but we love music. How much are those guys talking to each-other on stage and teeing up their changes vs. it just happening. YOU are an awesome musician and get music. We want to hear your interpretation of a what your hearing and what is actually going on in the musicians world to be able to pull of what they are doing. AND BTW you can rock it too so keep noodling more while your watching because you can have moments of your own WOW... Keep on keeping on man. And hope the life at home is going well!! ;-)

Your target audience is probably restaurant workers and gen nexters. Asking them to donate anything right now is darn near impossible. Umphrey's is a good band... Even nice enough to invite "goose" to Red Rocks (cancelled due to covid19)... But even they are not going to be able to pull money from a population that is clinching every dollar right now. You need to find a better way to get your audience back. I know it has taken a lot of hard work to get to where you are and I would just hate it if your acting like Sally Struthers during a famine, ruins all of it for you. Unless of course you plan on offering the sick children some Phish. Your friend. Jeep.
