Angelic mint if the string didn’t break then try loosening the string and then take the bridge pin out and restring the string as if u were putting a normal string

losen the string push the pin down hold it there tighten up the string till it grabs you likey have to mich string under the bridge . if you still have a problem make sure you have 2.5 to 3 winds on the peg for it to grab if you still have a problem them its likey your tuner is shot you will at that time new a new set you cant buy just 1 tuner to match the others

when ever you put in new strings on an acoustic you have to place the string in line it up with the slot in then pin press firmly on the pion while hold it down give the string a good tug to seat the string and what I di is I keep holding the pin down while bringing the string to pick sometimes it can still pop up a bit this way I know its seated properly I do this on all the strings

if its a brand new guitar take it back for warranty

cant help you on this the last string usualy is your high E and it only gets tuned to E its going to get tight not makore tight but tight to get to E start over try again maybe your tunner is not reading right ihave a video on doign 5th fret tunning check it out and try it and see what happens, as long as your Low E is tunned to E then the rest is simple and its screwup proof as well

if they are slippping out its usually lack of winds on the post how ever at the same time any nylon stringed guitar falls out of tune alot anyhow but should not just slip out thats a string problem on the post

not all the bridge pins will sit flush thats normal as for the tuning problem could be a bad tuner or not enough winds on the string so but if the tuner is not winding the string at all then bad tuner is likey so other a new set of tuners and a new set of strings and there you go problem solved

as long as the gear ratio is the same then you can do it personaly id take off thoese cheap tunners and get a nice set of sealed permanatly lube tunners with a high gear ratio 14:1 or higher it will give alot better tunning stability and be alot better over all eitherway,, but yes you can just make sure they are the same ratio of gears

sounds like if this is an acoutsic the srtring was not installed right with the pin to mich slack it will pop into place if that is hte issuse otehr wise could have a bad tuning key or your string is slipping at the tuner it self

use the proper stings on your guitar it, and also buy a headstock clamp on tuner like a snark

This is a very late reply but I replaced one of my bass tuners with a hipshot tuner. You have to drill a new hole but it is worth the trouble

keep at it 12 strings are a different way of tuning and can be a pain to tune and they dont keep it for long so enjoy the songs you get for each time you tune i have had 12 strings before and even tho i might consider one again some day right now i like my blood pressure right where it is for now

you repalce the set you cant buy just the 1 tunner so you need a new complete set of tunners if you can get the same exact ones then replace all 6 then keep the other good ones as spares

given that D uses theHigh E String its supposed to go sharp on the E there is noting wrong with your guitar your finger for the D Chrod by the way on the hi E is supposed ot me on the 2nd fret High E when you use the 3 fret High E string in a D the chord Changes to a D Sus

the string i likey slipping your high E and b strings need more winds on them then yout other strings to that or if this is and acoustic guita rhten could be you had to mikhc down in the bridge tune itup a few more times if that fails then its your stirng that slipping oh the post from lack of winds

put on a new set of tuners then and start again .. the g string will get pretty tight tho before its at pitch nature of the beast you High E and B are tight as well but that G is pretty tight try detuning the strings loose and start over as well and see what happens

the pop sound on the g string is common on most guitars to happen how ever this should not stop you from getting it to proper tune so just make it tigher it should be fine to comeup to pitch if not you might have to much slack under the peg and it will tighen up make take a few times that or you have not got enough wraps on the tuning peg at the head stock and its likey slipping

use a proper tuner to tune your guitar

each fret will be a different note thats how it works there but first you need to make sure your E strig in this case is tuned to the right pitch of E for the straing also your intonation could be out which also causes problems to .. thats the best i can say with out it being in front of me

then losen the screws that you tightend up the screws on the end part of the tunner control tension they are supposed ot be snug but not really super tight

well if you have tunners that have a plastic tunning key then that would be the problem some metal keys also have problems usually cheap ones that dont have an adjustment screw on the key it self so to fix that you put on a new set of tunners ..

get a guitar tuner and tune it properly i have a video on how to tune your guitar, failing that take it back to where you got it and have them take a look at it, all new guitars have warranties

well to get the same tuner so it matches your going to have to buy a whole new set unless you can find a repair place that has one that mathes in a parts collection ,, tunners are always sold in sets when new

is it tuned properly if so are there adjuster screws on the end of each key if so then you can try to loosen them ..and then just snug them up lightly, if that fails then a new set of tuners is a good idea

iam not sure what your saying but if your headstock is fine but your tuners dont worked then replace them , how ever if you have tuners that are only fasten in with nut and washer only then you just snug up the nuts , if you have nuts and washers and screw make sure everything is snug , if your auctual key you turn to tune is a problem then there would be a screw on the top of the key you can lighty snug up up , ill do a new video different title properly something along the lone of how to maintain your tuners on your guitar. somthing like that stay tuned to the channel ..

di you use the over under string lock to make sure it wont slip on the tuner did you properly feed the string under the bridge push and hold the pin while pull the string up tight before putting the other end to the tuner and if your tuning that high and breaking strings you went to high in pitch

@@agastyajagdhari8442 mics in devices are not made to deal with guitar frequences i have done alot od testing on this stuff , what else i can add is tho the snark is one of my avo tuners its not perfect none are to be honest but you want fast response time and as accurate as you need for your tunning, if your a pro player you wont use a snark you will want something even more accurate and more faster as well and the difference tho its only a few cents will make a difference but only to a certian point. apps thoe i have fond to not be that great over all ..

sounds like you dont have enough winds on the post and that you did not use a locking system either , that or to much slack under the pin so try tuning a few more times see of that helps if not then replace the string with a new one with more winds on it

whats a capstan never head of that term on a guitar , if your talk ing about the back cop on tunner because you have the split back style cheap tunners then it should help for sure.. other wise the term capstan makes no sence to me

well tune it down low and if your A string is in tune then put your finger on the 5th fret of your E and then pick the e and the a same time and tune the till it basicialy matchs the A sting that is in tune that solves the problem ill doa video as well on 5th fret tunning for you so sub my channel and hit hte bell so youll get notifed give me about 1 hour and the the video will be on my channel

bad intonation can cause that also try to no pressed top hard on the frets as this also knocks you out of tune as well

likely its just hte pin that hold the string to the bridge loosen the strn alot then push the pin down and hold it down while tunning that shoudl make is stay or it might come up a bit which is fine but its not suposed to keep comming up but you need to take up the slack in the string till it seats in place

its not in front of me so the only thing i can say is reaplace your pegs with a new set you cant buy just the one so new set and your good to rock,, check wish or amazon

the tunnng pegs cant pop out but if you have pressed in bushings they sure can you can use some wood glue and put a drop or 2 on teh bushing then press it back in if its a pressed in style if you have the nut and washer style take a 10mm wrench and tighten it back up just dont over tighten it just snug is all you need

Kevys Rc & Music I have the same problem. My high E string tuning peg won’t do anything. It disconnected from the mechanism and I used a screwdriver but nothing. It kinda popped out if that makes sense, but the string’s there. Idk what to do.

if your tuners have a nut and washer on the top then snug it and the rest of them up just snug dont over tighten use a 10mm wrench to do this ,, let me know how that works out for you

tighent up the nuts on top likley you have a loose nuts and the washers are buzzing happens alot with heat and humidy changes and either way you should check and tighten them with every string change and check them as well from time to time as they will work lose either way its the nature of the beast

well if this is on an acoustic and you just put new stings on it it could be you feed to much into the peg hole and you ll have to try and tune it a few more times it will lock up eventually, other wise if thats is good then its possible you have a bad tunner which means a new set of tunners are needed you cant just buy 1 tunner unless you have really high end tunners some companies will sell sperate ones but generally factory tunners cant be bought seperate so new set of 6 and back in business 3rd problem is how you strung it to the tuner could be slipping which can happen as well.. i use a locking techneique for the string so it cant slip on me at the tunner end..

back it way off the low E is not under alot of tension so you have tuned it to high in pitch and use a real guitar tunner as well to tune your guitar

@@300ver make sure the guitar tunner is set for Guitar or chromatic ,, your strings tune from top to bottom EADGBE ,, if this is even and electric guitar they will even oif the intonation is screwed but it wond sound right untill you intonate the guitar if this is an acoustic then you cant go wrong , i have videos on how to do all this stuff properly

wel i don't know the pegs you have so can't help either then to say get a new decent set and you should be good to go

try to restring the string on the tunner it might be slipping ... if that fails you could have a bad tuner and that means youll need to replace the entire set of tunners on the guitar

@@mrmcfoodleman4877 well you can get sets of tunners cheap on amazon you cant buy just the one so pick out what ever you like, if you really want a nice set then get a set of grovers i have them on most of my guitars and i love them to makes sure its a drop in install take a look at the patteren on the back of the tunner for the angel of the tab where the screw goes in make sure to get tunners with the same tab angle and this way you wont need to put new holes in at all.

@@moonchildzee49 well here is the deal you have stock tunners you cant buy just one if you have 3rd party cheap tunners you cant buy just one, if you have hi end i i do mean hi end tunners some company will sell parts or just a single tunner so if you one the lower end of things then you have to replace all 6 with stock tunners or but a new set of highedr end tunners and replace all 6 if you get replacement stock tunners i would replace all 6 and keep the good ones for spares in case anything goes bad on one of the new set of 6..

keep cranking on the tunner till they tune upto the pitch for each string failing that buy a real guitar tunner i hate app tunner sofware

there are screws n each tunner knob tighten them up just a bit each if they are to loose then you get tunning problems so snug them up a bit and see what happens
