Hello friends
Today i am sharing gujrati khaman dhokla recipe ....khaman is all time favourite farsan of gujratis
different forms of dhokla are popular in Gujrat.dhokla is mainly made from rice and gram dal but khaman are made from besan ,Non gujrati people are also seen mistakenly calling Khaman as Dhokla or even like khaman dhokla but for gujratis khaman and dhokla are totally different dishes dhokla are made from dal and rice while khaman are made from besan so here i have shared khaman recipe with perfect measurement,by follwing this recipe you can prepare same market style khaman ...so friends try this khaman recipe ,follow each step and measurement carefully , you can prepare easily at home so here are ingredients;
For besan dhokla
250 gram besan ( 2.5 cup )
400 ml water(2 cup water)
20 gram salt(1tbsp salt)
30 gram sugar(2 tbsp sugar)
6 gram citric acid(1tsp limbu na phool)
15 ml oil(2 tbsp oil)
8 gram tata soda( 1 tsp tata soda)
for adding vaghar
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp mustard
1/4 tbsp hing
3 to 4 green chilly
5 tbsp sugar
1cup water(200 ml)
3 pinch of salt

Wow... looks perfect. .... And many thanks to you for telling viewers to "not to use Eno" for khaman, I fully agree with you. Eno is full of many other chemicals, not fit for khaman. I tell people this but they don't believe. Also, I have a question-- Why you didn't use Curry-patta in "baghaar"? ... I've learned in Gujrat that in Khaman curry-patta is essential with green chilies for 'Baghaar'.... I use curry-patta and also apply fresh coconut with green Dhaniya leaves.... That looks awesome.🙂

Hello, thanks for such a nice comment and watching vedio carefully yes you are right Eno is not proper for best result of khaman … and yes you can add curry patta and coconut in khaman it enhances the taste here i have made it in regular base kabdoi style sometimes they also add coconut ,,,, thanks and try it stoe by sto🙏🙏🌺
