this has to be the sickest flat call ive ever seen, I see the point in just flatting on the river but the discipline to actually do it differentiates him and 99.9% of other players

We all know he knew he gets no value from a raise so he flats to try get a hero call out the early position player, as it’s the only shot at extra value… I think if this was heads up he goes broke….

The flop bet was so small he could conceivably have something like Ac8s, Ac8d, overcalling preflop in big multiway pot hoping to get lucky.

Come on. No way it's just a call. It's just bullshit. You can not put that few chips in and only call with quads. You can use that logic in ultra high stakes but in these games there are people having from time to time a 8.

@@technofeeling2462 point is the player was playing super tight, he didn't play suited connectors, he isn't chasing with an overpair on a paired board, it legit could only be 3s or 8s

@@javiponch8093 the odds of quad over quad is just too low to not all in, dude could have anything, a flush, full houses, trips, when you're playing that board and not watching, I can't see a universe where a player should ever call there with quad 7s, if you assume just cause it's a nit it has to be the nuts you're going to lose all the time.
