This is what the hike to the volcano looks like from start to finish. Recommended. Pick good weather. Dress light, but water tight and layer up. Bring plenty of fluids and food. Follow the trail. Charge your devices and bring extra battery. Bring decent flashlight if you are going at night. Opening hours are 6:00 to 18:00 as of writing. So go early as possible. Make sure the wind is favorable. Check the weather forecast and wind direction. Make sure it directs the smoke and gases from the volcano away from you at all times.
