MY EXPERIENCE W/ BETTERHELP:
after signing up, I was connected with a therapist within 48 hours. I didn't click as well as I hoped with this therapist, so I switched SUPER easily. when I switched, I was able to choose from a couple of options. the same thing happened with the next therapist I was connected with. however, I got along with my third therapist super well! during our session, she mentioned that she enjoys working with younger women going through transitional periods in their lives, which was so nice to hear because that's literally me! so, yeah. definitely a positive experience!
(another thing to note is that scheduling appointments is super easy because there are so many therapists, and they typically have a lot of availability.)

The Internet tends to have overblown reactions to almost everything. Sure, the sponsor might be sucky, but coming after you for it isn't at all justified. So glad you're learning that it's important to take care of your own needs at your age! I grew up in the church and still consider myself a follower of christ, but the church is not always good at encouraging you to take care of yourself. I thought i was a bad christian if I spent any energy at all figuring out what i wanted instead of focusing on others all the time and it's not healthy!

She has NOTHING to be sorry about. First and most basic is this is her job and if she is going to get paid by a sponsor and you guys like her then let it happen so she can continue to make content. Second if you dont like the sponsor then you dont support the SPONSOR... You dont attack the girl for making a fun little video. Third better help may not be perfect but we have a major lack of any mental health and if they can even help one person that is a good thing. I'm of the older generation that just locks our issues away in an internal box and throws away the key. Don't feel bad, what we don't know, we don't know. The way you did highlight transitioning to white on your lower lashline to give your eyes a bigger look is so fitting for the setting of the video! I love that attention to detail you have. As usual, I adore the unique concepts you have! They're always a little out of pocket, but so interesting and relaxing. A fun idea I had would be like. "giving you a spa treatment (you're a cat)" or something similar where you wind up trimming our claws and giving us like, a catnip tea to relax while you style our tail. I agree with part of what you said When i see gumoochie or another small creator getting sponsored i always think "ayy, tight! Get that bag" and not much else. Thats what I thought seeing this video But! Creators DO have a responsibility with the sponsors they choose to endorse. She could have made the decision to *not* go with this sponsor. I’ve been a fan of you for a while and I js wanna look out for u when I tell you BetterHelp has a bit of controversy surrounding them, and it’s not completely safe to accept sponsorships from them. And I saw this video two hours after this came out and saw some comments similar to these that are now deleted. It’s your risk to take when you accept these sponsors, but as the same as I said, they’re just looking out for you. ❤

So sorry to have to tell you, but BetterHelp is actually an extremely predatory organization, and they've been under fire for sketchy practices and unlicensced therapists since like 2022, it's one of the reasons CinemaSins doesn't do deals with them anymore as far as I'm aware

I don't think you meant anything by it, but better help has been proven to be pretty problematic, and they sell customer information and advocate for conversion therapy, so I would be careful with taking their sponsorships

This is so outrageous that I had to look it up. This conversion therapy incident is from a 2022 Wall Street Journal article talking about a gay man who had been (in a horrible mismatch) been paired with a Christian councilor who should have declined to work with the client at all. BH does not advocate for conversion and has an article on their site that explicitly calls it dangerous and damaging. They seem to have a lot of issues (who wouldn’t think “Uber for therapy” would go well??) but this does not seem to be one of them.

Always find it hilarious the standard to which people hold others online. You call her an "artist/ creator" and then cry when she doesn't uphold a certain level of professionalism. News flash! She isn't in a profession. She doesn't owe you anything. No offense to her, but if you're looking to her for wellbeing and safety, that's your own damn fault. At least she cares about you enough to try. That's more than you're probably getting from others.

Um.. no. That company is known for bad experiences in general but have ALSO come under fire for privacy violations. They had to reach a settlement with the FTC for the violations of almost 1m people... maybe know what you're talking about first.
