In this Gripe, we discuss the Curbelo-Moulton Ban, or H.R.3999 in all it's anti-gun glory. Guys, this is one we need to knock out right now before it grows any legs. In this bill and a sister Senate bill introduced by Queen Pelosi herself, you would be punished by 5-10 years in prison for the mere possession of a "rate increasing device," which is not clearly defined in either bill leaving the door wide open to interpretation. Robert Jacobsen 2nd amendment is an amendment... It can be amended if these gun nutters start shooting up police and military members. They don't care if a bunch of country music fans get lit up, but when the police and soldiers start getting shot, they clamp down hard on these gun nutters toys. So you think the solution is to disarm? You are aware that in the majority of these situations it is a man with a gun that ends the killing right? You know that when it's the police who stop a mass shooting the average number of people killed is in the teens and when it is stopped by an armed citizen the number is less than 3. Have you ever wondered why the mass shootings always take place in gun free zones? Do you think that disarming law abiding citizens is going to make anybody safer?

Windows that wont roll down? millions of cars that are "unsafe" drive down the road everyday legally. Also anything can be considered a "killing machine" A machine that makes cigarettes? A machine cannot kill unless programmed by a person or controlled by a person to do so.. Also Safe Legal Cars kill more people every single day in America than guns do even with the cars being properly maintained cars still kill more people than guns every day, every week, every month and every year along with cigarettes and alcohol but i dont see any bans or laws being imposed on those...

Bill O'Falafel you also can't legally jaywalk and people do all the time. The law states people need to buckle up in cars and many still don't. In some small towns there are still laws against spitting on the sidewalks, not smiling on Sundays, etc. Random laws don't make an argument. My statement was regarding an issue that can happen due to a piece of dirt getting caught while outside, so no matter how much or how diligently a "gun nutter" cleans their tool there can be a mechanical failure. There's a modern bolt rifle that is known to go off when taking the safety off on occasion. Back to your car reference, you could be driving your "safe" car and then a tire blows out and you hit something, well I guess it was YOUR fault because you didn't prevent that from happening. Water gets into your brake fluid reservoir and now your brakes are innefective and you cause a crash, again this is all YOUR fault...

While I admire your optimism gentlemen, I think you're all not quite understanding the gravity of the situation, nor the actual scope of the corruption. The time for a political solution has long since passed. The time for reintroducing the gun into politics has been at hand for multiple decades now. I don't care for bump fire stocks. I don't see a want for me to have one so I'm not going to buy one. Having said that if one of my fellow Americans like or want one then they should be able to buy one without question. I may change my mind in the future and want to pick one up for one of my many AR's to have fun at the range and I should be able to buy one. The fact that we are even having this conversation pisses me off deeply. Hands off my 2A and hands off my fellow countryman's 2A. Do NOT give these asshats one inch, in fact, let's take miles back from them.

Politicians don't want to edit... That'd mean actually representing... Politicians want broad legislation that they can hand off to their cronies in other parts of the government; parts that are controlled by the same politicians, but that have been given broad powers themselves to interpret and implement further legislation & regulation without it actually having to be approved.. Examples: HHS has been given broad powers regarding how to interpret and implement Obamacare. Thus it requires no approval from Congress to make any changes. Broad laws regarding the NFA and other gun legislation was given to the BATF to interpret and implement gun legislation. Result: The ATF can make their own rules up without additional legislation; thus the country ends up with laws being created and implemented by unelected agencies. At that point, Congress will simply state that there is nothing for them to do as the agency is just interpreting and creating regulations to implement previous law. This is why giving broad powers to the government is foolish. It's also why we don't need the ATF re-classifying things; as we are now being legislated by an unelected government agency. Just like taxation without representation is wrong, so is legislation and regulation by an unelected body wrong as we no longer have a say as to what is or is not allowed; at that point, we become slaves to the state and their whims.

Bump fire stocks don't increase the rate of fire for semi-auto guns. Recoil springs, bolts, and magnum loads do. Semi-auto shotguns, including hunting guns, are at the greatest risk.

Law doesn't trump the constitution, period. But the Hughes segment to the firearms protection act.trumped the second amendment. And that is completely wrong. To the point it's unconstitutional.

People keep telling me to leave and move to a State where my Rights are intact. People like me are on the front line, trying to divert the flood to keep it from moving inland. If anything, we need MORE Patriots to move INTO California, so we can actually make a difference.

I work at express Gun Locker in California and the laws are getting ridiculous. None of us should have to be talking about any of this stuff due to the amendment, but we do and I thank you guys for being so dedicated to educating the public and even people like me that sale guns. I learn a lot from your videos and it's time that all of the 2A community to stand up and not just 50% and the rest sit back and think that just one person won't change anything.

I called ALL the reps. From VA (where i live) D and R if i am there district or not. I also called Ryan too, light his phone up if you live in his state or district or not. He is the speaker of the house so he's accountable too ALL OF US.

Not defining a specific part and leaving it open ended is one hell of a slippery slope! Wish someone could get through to the politicians what "Shall not be infringed" means.
