People actually whine about blowing up a couple $100 guns? Wonder how they reacted to Australia and the UK crushing thousands of custom German made target rifles and vintage WWII weapons.

I wonder if anyone in america realizes that (to my knowledge) every dictator has legally disarmed it's people before coming through and killing them. So many people here in America are so gung ho about gun control. I know i learned Gun Control in my hunter's safety course when i was 11, and that is the only kind we need here now!!

I don't comment often and I think I may be in a quiet majority here... The torture test videos are some of the best on the channel. People who know guns and understand that our lives may very well depend on these tools value the information you present. And they're done so with an enjoyable and entertaining sense of wit and style. Keep them coming.

when i bought my used Mauser M24/52c, the barrel was rusty (but not shot out) and a bit of rust was in the receiver, there are scratches on the wood everywhere. When I went through several stages of cleaning the barrel with different tools and sprays i got it clean. When I fired on the range on 100m it was as accurate as most other peoples Mosin Mauser there, with some being a bit more accurate. If i take the time to aim and get prepared I can get a 5 shot group in a circle with the radius of 10cm with the iron sights, which for me isnt bad considering its mostly matching number and i got it for cheaper than beaten up mosins

My attitude when I was looking for an old Lee Enfield .303, generally a Mark 3 Star, I had seen plenty in bad condition, yet when I looked at one particular piece, the action was smooth, all the item needed was a bit of sanding and some polish, everything else was brilliant.

Great video guys!, no matter what condition something is in, you will always have people who think that what you are destroying is "a waste" even if it was scrap metal before you got it! I've had people (with issues) give death threats for making washing machines tear themselves apart under their own power! Being in Australia i do feel sorry to see those guns destroyed, but the learning and entertainment is well worth it!, keep it up guys!

I bought a hi point C-9 just based on your video it was only a hundred and some change. I figured hell with it. I gotta say thats an alright gun for the price probably already put 2-300 rounds couple cleanings later still goin strong.

Hey Eric and Barry, just a note from the Desert Edge of Oregon and Idaho. I appreciate your common sense approach to weapons ownership and sensible use. Just watched Episode 26 again on Glocks. Your views on the Glock is the reason I chose to buy the Gen 4 G26, love the piece and this is from a staunch 1911 carrier and lover. Still carry the SR1911 but now include the G26 as an EDC at times. Keep up the good work and thank you for your service.

We are dealing partly with pistols, but I understand what you mean. It goes with bolt actions though. I figured this doing a little bit looking into the differences between the .300 Magnum and Winchester short magnum. Both of them use similar powder loads and slight increase in velocity in the short magnum but pressures are way higher in the short magnum and will produce "bolt thrust" which will wear out your lugs and increase your headspace eventually.

John Moses Browning always said "Build it strong enough... then double it." And most of the guns I've come across even the cheap ones are built very strongly even if they aren't exactly fitted well. K31's are a prime example of an old strong, beautiful and superbly accurate rifle.
@Alkemyst426

Loathe as I am to see ANY kind of a gun destroyed, there's a HUGE difference between melting down an "evil" gun and testing something to destruction. Eric and Barry do this kind of thing, if not in a strictly scientific way, certainly a methodical and clearly explained way. For me, it just shows how well firearms are made, even something as old as a Mosin or something as cheap as a HiPoint is still a very tough item to damage. Keep up the great work, guys....
