i own and love my Hpoints. they have a definite breakin period.the first 500 rounds you can expect some failures. especially failure to feed. if you have continuing feed issues tweek the feed lips there are several vids showing how

my older C9 has (get this) over 20,000 rounds thru it. it gets cleaned every 2000 rounds but i do spray it out with PB Blaster after every shoot

I recently bought my hipoint. you cannot possibly go wrong for the price, especially if you are on a tight budget and feel you need a firearm for defense and security. Their aftermarket (and indeed factory) support is very diverse. there are hundreds of mods you can do. I did with some simple polishing, and replaced the plunger spring with one I had lying around for a much firmer trigger pull. about 30% of my slide is polished down to chrome, it looks really good for a c9. I took it to the gunstore, and the owner was like "hey, you got it looking nice! you msut have a lot of shit on your hands!" I said what? he was like "you polished the hell out of a turd!" lol anyhow, the only thing I ever found as an issue with the hipoint was the magazines ability to feed ammunition. it is admittedly a poor design. When the mag is ful, it can overfeed ammunition, and presses to hard on the rear of the cartridge, so the Round will nosedive and get stuck. a simple tap on the rear of the slide will load it properly. However, I am sure all of us hipoint owners are eagerly awaiting a new mag design

Haters will hate . I love mine and have had it for almost 2 years . I did upgrade to the 10 round mag . It fits the hand a little better . Thank you for the great video !

Does anyone think or possibly know?, could the hipoint mags not feeding be something like the old M16 mags problems (original)and M16A1s, where once you loaded them you had to knock the crap out of them to align rounds,or they would jam or double feed? Back 30 yrs or so when I was in NG they always had that problem, and then also when I was Regular Army(19kilo M1 tanker) we didn't mess with M16s as much ,so when we went to gun ranges they always had problems, ( we begged the infantry to help us qualify),lol
