Watching this reminds me of how far the animation in Gundam has come & how much farther they will no doubt continue to go, & yet the stories continue to be timeless.

watching the new red comet in action is like watching a pro fps player. it's thrilling to see long distance accurate shots made while strafing or turning at high speed.

Gundam section is one of the section that really reflected on the world now and the second war I enjoy this section

UC + 00 level graphics and effects + epic MS = Total WIN

This marks the first non evolve OVA and indeed series to take place in the UC Era in about fifteen years,its good to see the return of the red comet even if he is a clone and the return of Mineva and indeed the UC era itself. ;3

Char is my favorite character. I just read few comments about this guy being the real Char or not. If you think about it hard... it does not matter. Char is an idea, a conception. That's why Frontal tells Banagher that if people want him to be Char, then he will be Char. For them. For him, it does not matter.

@12ock I wouldn't be so sure, after Chars Counterattack Char and Amuro are both MIA. In Ep 2 of Unicorn when he removes his mask not only he sounds and looks like Char, he also has the same scar as Char in CC. Besides Char is just one of his names, he always is the person he people needs him to be. So until people responsible for gundam storyline say that he is or he isn't real Char I think his might be the real deal.

Good stuff was amazed with this one now get to wait for the third episode :(

Every Zeon fan and idealist is a form of Char. What Char is made up of is all the ideals and actions of a true hero for the nation. Char can never die! Also on a side note, the novel does explain who Frontal really is :P It is actually hinted from the very beginning due to one character. I won't spoil anything :)

Sinanju is the top list of my favorite gundam. I have all of sinanju gunpla grade (SD,HG,MG and Mg titanium finish)

One More Thing, The OVA has original plot from episode 4. So...We don't know how the story gonna end....I don't like how the director do it,but since there exists "Animation series is the true history" policy...Well just can't wait what will happen in the episode 5.

If you can read japanese and backwards for some strange reason the imagine is reversed 3:46 October 30th. I'm happy cause at first when the first episode came out which you can find on myspace videos. I thought at first it was going to take a year to make each episode.

@henritje19 The Nightingale is Char's mobile suit in the Char's Counterattack novel, it's supposedly an upgraded version of the Sazabi (Not Sinanju), the Sinanju is the succesor to the Sazabi (Nightingale is non-canon, I think). Hope that clears things up.

@sakanoue1970 It's for copyright purposes. He is aware that it is reversed and did so purposely, otherwise the chance of youtube removing the video would be very high. By reversing footage orientation one can bypass some copyright infringement detection.

O I forgot to mention. Those People were artificial NT, They are aka as NT+, and people like char and amuro their aka is NT-N or just NT. don't confuse.

I personally like Char more than Full Frontal, sure the beliefs that Char spread is an ideal but it is the experience that Casval went through that shaped him. thats why i dont really like how Full Frontal only sees char as an idea.

@brwnie00 then explain, what is the concept of Char if he was a living being. I remember Marida's analogy of Zeon being like a religion for spacenoids, one could see Char as being a Christ-like figure for them, having died trying to improve humanity, and Zeon Zum Deikun as the "God" of the Zeons. You could also argue that Full Frontal is like a preacher trying to carry on the ideals that Char believed in

Will....he is not the char, He is just copy mech, data from it. The mech was evo from char's mech so lots personal information still in there, he just copy it and use. The real char still MIA and amuro still alive during that time because Timeline shows that he die around first F-91 series.
