Quickly gave up watching this video. Another case of loud music killing the dialog.

The man at 5:27 insists that the police wait until daylight, but he overlooks the increased risk to more people, including children, during daytime operations. He lacks common sense. Additionally, the suspect failed to comply with police commands to drop the weapon. While the police mistook the metal bar for a gun, they must make split second decisions, and even though it wasn't a gun, a metal bar can easily be used as a weapon. The suspect should have followed their commands and dropped the metal bar or perceived "gun."

People fail to understand that police often have a nanosecond to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations. If a suspect fails to comply with commands, wields a potential weapon (yes, a metal exercise bar can be a weapon), and consequently gets shot, it's the suspect's fault for not obeying police orders. In the 2nd situation, the police hesitated to use lethal force due to public outrage from the previous shooting. Yet, the public then criticizes the police for not acting sooner. It's a lose-lose situation for police. The public will always find fault in every situation, whether it's for not using a taser, not shooting sooner, shooting too quickly, or any other perceived misstep.🙄
