As a drummer of some 50 years... I always find it interesting that many play actors are continuously impressed with their ability to memorize lines and pretend to be someone, in gross generality, as many times as they like until they get what they want from the boss. Here, we have gazillions of the most minute of technical details in this art of playing a complex instrument. Hands feet and mind, reproduced consistently, in syncopation, with groove, touch, power, and chops for miles... all while "speaking" coherently with other band members.... what an amazing artist! Just blows me away... poof!!!

Saw you guys for SESSANTA in Raleigh and MAN! You rocked it brother. I loved that there were moments for each musician to steal the show and elevate the audience higher and higher. I'm a drummer myself so seeing the three of you guys up there vibing was incredible. So inspirational. I got lost in some of the complex grooves you played, playing with different off beats and bringing in different voicings on the hi hat foot and FX cymbals to add depth and layers to the grooves.
