As a female drummer I just gotta say that I've noticed whenever women do these types of vids they're so apologetic and there's no reason to be! Yeah, Rage used a lot of primal beats in their songs and let Tom explore the room with his unique guitar wizardry. The drums were used more as a thump than a musical instrument at times, which is probably what made them so good. If Brad were back there using a lot of fills, double bass, complex signatures, etc it probably would have drowned out Zack’s crucial lyrics and Tom’s riffs somewhat.
