Actually it wasnt that. I was there in Cleveland. They were playing a bill with Sebastian Bach and GNR so the audience was more like the 80s Arena Rock crowd and they clearly made a mistake hiring the Eagles. The audience didnt like them at all and really booed them hard becayse stylistically they are different than what the people were expecting. So Axl got pissed at them for ruining the mood of the crowd and shat on them. When he stepped on the stage the first thing he said was someting like "The Pidgeons of Shit metal can can consider themselves fired" and the crowd was cheering. The problem was it was his idea for hiring them in the first place not realizing how different they are in terms of genre than S Bach and GNR. He wasnt threatened. He was pissed at them for not living up to his expectations or some shit. And it wa sa douche move. INstead of protecting them or something he shat on them on top of the boos just to give the crowd the thumbs up for booing them.

Stephania D'Angelo Perez um pigeons sucked, I was at that show in Cleveland and majority of crowed bood them to the point the suicide girls came on stage early. Homework guy, home work. They sucked and Axl kicked him off his show, simple as that.

Music is subjective maybe the 2 styles didn't mix well with the crowd. I'd rather go to a show and see an eclectic bunch of bands then hear the same music out of them all. Any major rap group opening for GNR wouldn't go over, doesn't mean they suck. Different crowd different music. You would never hear that from ACDC, Metallica, Rolling Stones, Foofighters, etc etc... Come on GNR is huge he didn't have to do or say that. Even managers take employees in private to handle things. Professionalism

Axl Rose is a hated figure by his own band, by every band thats toured with him. He was placed on such a high pedestal that he went up his own ass. Metallica, being as big as they are, treat their support bands very well, every band thats toured with them.

nah nah nah. slash, izzy, duff, axl, and adler made gnr worth listening to. once slash and izzy the two that came up with the riffs they became bland and have now just become a side show.
