The look on his face when he is powering up the the 3rd "knocking on heaven's door" is amazing it's almost like he takes a moment to reach deep inside himself, looks off into the distance, time stands still he finds it, his face changes, he fills with aggression and goes super sayain. it's one of the most amazing personality changes ever caught on video.

Duff, Izzy and Popcorn Adler keeping that fat groove movin. Axl Rose live circa 86 thru 88 is insane. Slash just being Slash. This era of GNR is untouchable for me. I've not heard anything before or since that speaks to me the way this does. Awesome video!

This is when guns n Rose's was one of the baddest bands to crawl out of the ashes of L.A. that first record is so damn legendary. This to me was the genuine raw Guns n Roses....that wasn't quite the same afterwards

The way he says Door at 1:47 is and other pronunciations is Jim ''Dandy'' Mangrum vocal influence of Black Oak Arkansas for sure ..He uses a lot of that on many GNR songs especially like Mr Brownstone

He does this in a lot of the tracks. So how do you think he was influenced or was he copying or what? TBH, I don't even know the people you're talkin bout. I'm kind of young and I'm learning about allthese things which is why I'm asking you bunch of questions like a little kid I guess LOL

@@choice12ozborne Black Oak Arkansas came out in 1971 and was over with by 77 ,the original line up anyways and Jim had weird vocal variations ,very bizarre and too weird for some to enjoy and I can hear the influence it had on Axl ....David Lee Roth was also heavily influenced by him and used it for his stage persona as performances with Van Halen ..I can send you some links but I don't want to send them on this thread because she may not like that.....Post me a vid link I can send them to.. This is a much rawer version than I saw. Saw Guns live in 91 on the Use Your Illusion tour and it was an incredible show even with the constant rants of Axl and is one of my favorite covers they ever did.🤘🎸🥁🎤🔊

Wow man I wished I was around two had been able to go to the concert.what's kind of depressing and away is Axl Rose voice is wack now and he's lost it. Happy 23rd Birthday 🎂. Wow, 23. I was on the Island of Kauai helping with disaster relief after Hurricane Iniki hit the Island, for my 23rd Birthday. I was part of a Communications team in the U.S. Air Force. It was an amazing experience, and a lot of very hard work. Excellent reaction. Keep the hits coming.
