I remember when GnR hit it big in the 80's. I was about 14 at the time, thought they were the greatest. Slash is a legend. The whole band was pretty epic. Duff was awesome on Bass, Axle speaks for himself. The other guitarist was also pretty famous named Izzy. When they lost their drummer Steven Adler due to the fact he could not get off the "Mr Brownstone", they never really were the same. Its amazing how important a good drummer can be when setting the beat. I hear it took like 30 years, but he finally got clean.

Yeah Matt Sorum is an excellent drummer, but I think most GnR fans would acknowledge that Steven Adler had a swing and groove to his playing that was one of the defining attributes of GnR.

Nightrain is definitely a favorite GnR song of mine. "Mr. Brownstone" is another high energy song, that I often class with Nightrain. "You Could Be Mine" is maybe my favorite of all GnR songs, I definitely recommend it!

Slash is Slash, dude. Jazzists hate him, most rockers venerate him. One note and you know it's him. He'll be as iconic as Hendrix once he passes. Cheers !

Mom is black and dad is white. Both worked in the music industry. Mom was a costume designer and dad created album covers.

Slash has a white father from UK and black mom from USA. You probably got blocked or copyright on a lot of these tracks. These are before my time and I grew up mainly on hip hop with a little flavor of other kinds of music. You probably catch copyright on these tracks by guns and roses. I saw the freaking name on a t-shirt before I heard them. I'm 23 Latina and love this band these days. Don't get it wrong because I still love my hip hop but there's nothing wrong with touching grass from around the world. In your spare check out welcome to the jungle. You will know the basic beat off top because they play it at sports games. I see in your library that you're still putting out some fresh videos so I did subscribe Dame. I'm going to give it a like obviously. I watched Elvis and the black community a few minutes back on your channel. That was pretty interesting to me. Just want to say thanks and I'll share your channel and let people know basically what is up with your videos these days. Usually when I share it's just when I have someone like my BF beside me and show him and then he does the same and so on. I will share through tech but also literally let people check it and that's the way to get the groove and then I press still to press that bill lol❤... Peace and blessings to you and yours

Heck he wore ass-baring chaps on stage back in 1986, he's worn all kinds of revealing things from the beginning, probably a mix of trolling and exhibitionism, just pushing those edges as Axl often would do.

Slash is a great player but I can not recommend enough that you check out Stevie Ray Vaughn "Voodoo Child" the version on the channel called FeatureTube. It probably one of the greatest performances ever. It easy on the ears a Jimi Hendrix blues song. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work I think you had under 50 when I subscribed. Check out this song.
