I know you ladies are really getting into a song when you break out the air guitars! 😂 The song Axl Rose is singing at the start is "Sail Away Sweet Sister" by Queen, which is off their 1980 album "The Game". Great reaction video!

@@markmike7933 "The Game" will always be my sentimental favourite, as it was the first Queen album I bought way back in 1980, and was therefore my gateway into that band's fantastic discography. Also, as you say, it is a great album on its own merits.

That live performance was Paris 1992, the first ever concert by any band that was put out on Pay Per View & I have it as I recorded it on VHS tape & still have it to this day. An absolute awesome show & the rendition of Knockin' On Heavens Door is just out of this world.

This is an awful performance of this song. I saw them in Pittsburgh wayyy before this and that was ten times better. They should have reacted to the video. Too many live changes on this. But I guess after so many years playing a song again and again, bands get bored. Billy Joel won’t even play “Piano Man” at all, anymore.

Hi again, dear girls. The Use Your Illusion was a massive world wide tour, back in 1992, brought them to my home city, Bogota Colombia, in November. This special guitar solo is rated in the top 5 of the best solo for any song, by Rolling Stone Magazine, and the best tour show was in Japan, in February 1992, so please chek`em out there. Yeah, with a live show, you never know what you're going to get - that's why it's so fun! Axl used to be a fireball on stage, but you never knew IF he'd do it or not. Beyond him, I've always considered Slash to be one of the best rock guitarists ever, and Duff, on bass, is great, too. 🤘🤘🎸🤘🤘

The first song before sweet child o mine was a queen song that Brian May sung called Sail Away Sweet Sister, the second was Bad Time by Grand Funk Rail Road. When GNR plays live for some of their songs they play another song as an intro.

I worked for Guns N Roses in 1993 opening act were : Bryan May & Suicidal Tendencies! Nice video again ! Good Luck ! By the way i was at this show in 1992 it was in Vincennes park in Paris ! Lenny Kravitz was & Aerosmith were guests. The stage was also to low the crowd on the back could not really see the band. We were like 40000 people that day.

°v° Are you guys aware of one real great cover wersion of this song by the German band The Heimatdamisch? Imagine this song performed by a female fronter/singer/songstress (Conny Kreitmeier) and a random guy eating his Brotzeit and enjoying his beer (EDIT: he's actually the male lead vocalist Michi Wiedemann, fhe drummer Florian Rein being the bandleader...). All this in Bavarian attire [Lederhosen and Dirndl] played in Polka style (so brass/wind instruments like tuba, trumpet, trombone, saxophone and clarinet, along with voice, drums and accordion) and in a happy funny vibe...! =8:> I absolutely love the cover version and watched it way more times than the original... (two official versions, published on their YT channel, can be found on KZfaq, one called The Heimatdamisch: Sweet Child o' Mine (live), the other being The Heimatdamisch: Sweet Cild o' Mine (Guns n' Roses).
