For that little hex screw that got stripped out, you can try a small Torx bit to try to remove it or...... you ca JB weld the hex wrench in there and after it's cured you can remove the screw attached to the wrench.

It is hard to believe this gun is that good when there are reviews all over the place showing jamomatics and severe barrel leading . I would love for it to be this good and this is what should be expected from Sig (I have 2 TX 22’s and they are absolutely awesome, I would love to have the sig and have it be that good. The customer base needs to put heavy pressure on sig to fix the problems until every gun performs like your video. I see all the fan boy reviews accepting quality issues because it’s a sig and I love sigs . I am scared to death to get one of jamomatics with leading in the barrel and having to deal with customer service and the crap show

I’m a Sig guy but Taurus has the comp 22 that’s the fastest handgun out in longrifle variant. I tried out working it. Im in the market for a good reliable 22LR pistol...but after watching "many" KZfaq videos Im more confused than ever now. Because no matter what brand of pistol you are trying to get accurate information on, there will be half the people love it and the other half hate it. So you end up more confused than before you began and you don't know who to believe. And the majority of gun shops don't have a way to try it and if they did they won't. So its like buying a car but not being able to drive it first. I know some of you may have dealers that do have a way to try it...but not everyone has that luxury.. Sorry, don't mean to be negative. But I think this is what prevents a lot of people from buying their first pistol. And I can't afford to buy multiple guns these days. Thanks Joe.!!

I have to laugh at some of the Taurus fanboi comments here. The TX22 is a fantastic gun, but if you haven't fired the P322, you have no credibility comparing the two. I have fired both and the Sig is every bit as reliable and fun to shoot as the Taurus. The TX22 is 100.00 less expensive however, so if you're strapped for cash I'd go with that one. I hate the white dot sights and optics mount on the Taurus though. The Sig's fiber optics and traditional slide-mounted red dot attachment is superior in that regard. In addition, the P322 holds 4-5 more rounds than the Taurus (10-11 if you throw in the 25-rd mag that is sold separately). That is a SIGNIFICANT advantage when plinking or, God forbid, carrying for self-defense. No matter which gun you choose, you're going to come out a winner, but neither pistol trounces the other if you've got the extra 100.00 to spend. If you've got the dough and love .22s, get both!

I have both so I’m qualified to speak on it. Well let me clarify, I sold my tx22 and bought a p322. On the 5th round the p322 had a malfunction. Continued malfunctioning every few rounds. Yay. Most reliable gun my ass. I have a p365 too, so I do like sig. I took the p322 apart and chamfered the chamber inlet and radiused and polished the feed ramp. That seemed to have fixed it. I do like the 322 better than the tx22.

@@Turbogto_guy Bummer. My Taurus gave me headaches during my first 100 rds when I first got it. I blame myself because I was stupid and fired it right out of the box. Now, I thoroughly clean every firearm before using it. That has eliminated most break-in period problems, including my Glock 44 (post-May, 2020. Glock 44s manufactured before May were notoriously finicky with ammo).

Good review. Off the bat and having never handled one, I can say I do not like or understand why they flush fit or almost recessed the magazines into the well. Specific malfunctions require ripping the mag out and it doesn’t look easy to do with this. Im sure the aftermarket will fix this due to the competition shooters complaining about it. That all being said Right now the cheapest I can find one is $600.00 which is a no go for a blow back .22 or pistol. When the hype dies down and I can get one for $400.00 or used then I will.

I think the Kel-Tec P17 manual recommends NOT using the slide lock for completing the slide cocking/firing process (as other commenters have suggested it will add to premature ware of the slide lock and thus its last shot hold open function). While I really like my P17, to me the build quality happens to be more proportional to its price which is not true of the Taurus TX22 or TX 22 Compact both of which I would classify as outstanding "Best Value" 22lr handguns.

You guys must be joking. I took my new P322 to the range for the first time yesterday. Out about 200 rounds (probably less), I got about 40 light strikes and 10 failure to feed. The 100 or so that actually fired winded up caking the end of the barrel with lead. The last 50 shots show target key holing. The experience was a mess and not what I expected from a Sig and Holosun totaling about $850. I sent it to SIG with pictures so they can evaluate the problem and refurbish it. BTW, several KZfaqrs having similar problems. Look and you will see.
@ctusser

Jfalk35. The light strikes might be from a broken firing pin or return spring, possibly caused by dry firing if you’re doing that. These guns are not safe for much dry-fire without the chamber flag despite what Sig says in their hype videos. Even the manual recommends using the chamber flag to avoid wear.

@@jfalk35, I just got mine back from it’s second trip to Sig. First was a broken firing pin or return spring due to dry firing. Second it was frequently failing to feed the last round with high velocity due to worn out recoil and magazine springs after 3500 rounds. It ran perfectly for a while, and still ran great with Standard velocity. The springs wear somewhat quickly. It’s a decent gun, but definitely overhyped; it certainly hasn’t helped with the chores around the house which is what I was pretty much expecting after watching all those hype videos.
