I put about 200 rounds of CCI AR TACTICAL, through mine yesterday. Ate it like candy, had 2 times the slide dosnt close all the way, easy fix, just push it closed. I like this pistol. And it's worked just like I hoped. It did not like Federal auto match, but I think that ammo is crap anyway, it didn't work well in my pump 22 either. And that thing eats almost any ammo..lots of tft rounds.

I have the TX22 and I very pleased. I didn't feel the need for another22lr...until Taurus came out with the competition. I'm now interested in the longer barrel. What a wonderful pistol this is.

Great for starters.I think the loud noise bothers most beginners, when I have my ears on the boom, that scares people is gone.My wife started with a co2 bb gun. When she fired my .45 she flinched,a common problem, easily fixed,as it has much to do with loud report.VERY GOOD VIDEO,BEGINNERS ARE NOT STUPID,I LIKE THAT YOU TREAT US WITH RESPECT.I WAS A PATROLMAN,I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TO NEW PEOPLE..NOTHING IS A BAD QUESTION,WHEN YOU ARE NEW TO FIREARMS.ITS TOO IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF US.THANKS FOR SIMPLICITY,I HAVE TOLD BEGINNERS YOU ARE THE VIDEO TO START WITH.

The place of manufacture is stamped on barrel, all you do is look, the date is the first two numbers of serial number subtracted from 2000

Thanks! Better lubrication alone made the differenence in my X22. It is still ammo fussy. Some old Fededral .22s from the local uuiversity's former indoor range work best. They are round nose hollow points. Turcated ammo with a cone nose is a no go.

About those pins, I'm going to say that you were trying to drive the knurling, which is backward. Drive from left to right to remove, re install tapered end first and seat from right to left. Good video, thank you.

I have a question, disassembling an ISSC M22 9MM, will it be the same as disassembling this one showed in this tutorial or will things be different??? My Trigger Reset stopped working accordingly and I have been looking for tutorials of how to fix it yourself...

@@gunsaccessories8853 I have the Compact and it is the first 22 handgun that fires all Winchester white box with no problems… So I had to have the new one of course. I picked up the GX4 Carry TORO as well. Can’t believe how far Taurus has come along these recent years!

The husband and I just took our gun safety class yesterday and fired our first live rounds in class it was very eye opening and admittedly FUN!! I’m now going to get us signed up for more classes and we will be going to a range where you can rent guns while waiting for our licenses. Your video was wonderful, we learned some of this stuff in class but you filled in the blanks (so to speak….😉). 👍🏻👍🏻

I was considering both. Chose TX22 since its feel, grip, etc. are similar to my other polymer 9mm's. Cheap ammo and I use as a training gun. For serious rimfire target shooting I use my Buckmark 😃

"Standard armorers wrench at it comes off with little effort." That is a bald-faced lie in the current year. Mine has crazy amounts torque applied to the barrel nut that not even heat and oil could help me break it loose.
