The Horizon is the power machine among our wave sails. The 5-batten power wave sail adapts to all conditions and performs regardless of wind or wave. The redesigned mast sleeve adds a bit more cloth tension and a better working leech, which translates into more controllable handling and more range in high wind. With its adaptive size range, the Horizon is considered the chameleon of wave sails. The focus of the smaller sizes up to 5.0 sqm is on radical wave and strong wind characteristics.
From 5.3 sqm upwards, the Horizon's more pronounced profile turns it into a punchy power package and makes it the ideal choice for bump & jump action. For rather untypical for a wave sail, the Horizon offers pinpoint acceleration and speed-rich upwind characteristics. Thanks to the 3 mil light square-ply in the top of the sail and the reduced weight, it is easy to handle, control and maneuver. In addition, the Horizon convinces with its fluid ON/OFF behavior, thanks to the lower pressure point. No matter which size you choose, you can always expect full planing power, stable handling and powerful propulsion. Or as the test reports put it: Pulls off reliably from the start!
