I also miss the old vibe, but according to your logic, artists are obligated only 1 kind of music, just like: YOU MAKE THIS KIND OF MUSIC SO YOU CAN'T MAKE ANOTHER KIND OF MUSIC, STOP EXPERIMENTING F*CKING DUMBS. Tell me, what article of dutch constitution says that artists should do only 1 kind of music? This is great too, because it's not their typical style doesn't mean that is trash, just hear "Move On" by E-Force. But well, what can I wait of close minded people like this. There wasn't a single second, where I thought it was anything less or more than a euphoric/melodic song and it really doesn't matter who made it or why. I just made an observation, that this wasn't the usual G4H song! Was I wrong? No! I was totally right! Experimentation is literally the fuel that keeps the engine of the music industry going. Not just the harddance scene, but every single musical style out there, no matter how well-known and popular or obscure and underground. It would get reeeeeaaaaally boring if music stayed the same forever. Just listen to a regular commercial pop radio and you'll see what I mean... So no, I have nothing against experimentation. Try away! Make the weirdest, wackyest shit you can come up with and maybe you'll be the next biggest hit in the world of music. BUT! I wouldn't call this experimentation! This was like if AC/DC suddenly made a K-Pop song out of nowhere. You know what I mean? And don't tell me it was an effort to create something new, because there are thousands (maybe even millions) of euphoric songs at this point. Let's skip the bullshit. This would have had absolutely no effect on me (or many others) if it was a Ran-D song, an Adaro song or even if it was a collab between them under those names. But this wasn't a G4H song. They created this duo to make their signature raw songs. Noone held a gun to their head (hopefully) to release this under the Gunz for Hire name. I think I've said enough. It's weird. I'm not angry or anything. I'm just confused, that's all... And lastly! You have no idea how wrong you are by assuming I'm close minded... I've literally tried every genre of music ever offered to me. I'll give everything a go. Even if I find it unbearable to listen to, I'll listen to 3-5 songs, just to make sure it wasn't the specific artist's or song's fault. And even after that, I don't go around telling people to never listen to X, Y and Z, because I think it's not good. Of course if asked what I think about it, I'll tell them it's not my cup of tea, I'd rather not listen to it. But on the other hand, I've also found many great things this way too. Who would have thought witches and house music mix so well. Or that japanese speedcore is a fucking masterpiece. Not me! But they are (for me at least) amazing in their own, unique and different ways! So no, I wouldn't call myself anywhere near to being close minded. I just like things to be the way that they should be. But I think I've rambled on for quite long enough.
