A fantastical trip through Wonderland, without having to fall down the rabbit hole, this exhibition goes beyond fashion creating art for no other reason than for art's sake. The East meeting the West oftentimes leads to disagreement, but seeing these works by Guo Pei, who needs words anyway.

Initially I decided to go see the porcelain dress. Ended up spending a half day being mesmerized and just in awe of the details and everything of this whole exhibit. Enjoy your visit soon!

This is such a short video for the enormous number of looks shown, but I feel it gives a much better sense of how the clothes exist in actual physical space than most. I loved the detail at 4:30 of the neck fasteners beginning to cascade down the back.

great assignments for a school group would be to draw one of the dresses and/or describe who would wear it, where would they go how do they feel, what emotion does the dress represent. Some kids really run with this

Did you know, Guo Pei is also featured in the metaverse, decentraland fashion show, Guo Pei is also involved in the metaverse and web3. one of the dresses that is on view at the legion was also that same dress featured in the metaverse. amazing exprience.

Gorgeous clothes, but video scanned too quickly to get more than a glimpse of any one. I'll have to look for a library book or other video to actually learn something, pity.

Also, you're getting hella close to the dresses, like you literally have your camera right above the platform and on the dress like inches away, im surprised the guards let you film with such close proximity, I would have been like, "ma'am you're too close" lol
