The new adventure finds Gus (Dulé Hill) and Selene (Jazmyn Simon) preparing to tie the knot ahead of the birth of Baby Guster. After I complete a rewatch, I immediately begin again. This show has always consistently made me laugh. My mother in law hated the show because she said, ‘it’s too silly’. That’s why I love it so much. Every character has been a gem.

This part made me rewind it again to make my dad and I laugh 😂 the way Gus tore off Shawn’s jacket quick and he just ducks underneath his legs and stalls fast 🤣 the movie was really good. Made me laugh, cry on some parts, and I enjoyed the action it had. The cast means so much to me; I was in 6th grade when I really started liking the show (and crushing on James Roday). It’s also my dad’s favorite show so we bond over that!

Okay so I just watched the movie and by far the best one so far. Everyone felt so perfectly written. Although one gripe I have is that I don't get the kids thing, cuz if we throwback to season 8 I remember explicitly that Juliet wanted to have kids, which she said during Shawn's proposal, and he said he wanted them too. Their whole relationship has felt a little off the last three movies, or on a backburner... I mean it was one of the best aspects of the show. Rarely do I cry in a tv show but when Shawn admitted to Juliet that he'd been lying about being a psychic all that time at Marlowe and Lassiter's wedding, that scene has me crying rivers every time. I don't know what the plan is for future movies, end credit scene aside, but give us some juicy Shawn-Juliet stuff please. It's sorely lacking in my life.

I don't think they're 100% against the idea, but they're lives have gotten busy to the point that as they get older jules understands that it might not happen. Also Shawn's issue with kids has very much to do with being a commitaphobe. As you saw in the 2nd movie, with shawn usually an event will happen that will put in to perspective life his fleeting and he'll take a step forward. Which I can see happening in the next movie. Plus having kids in your 40s and all the challenges that come with that, is something that is rarely explored on movies & television.

I wonder if it has to do with James and Maggie ending their romantic relationship. Some people have boundaries that others would not and maybe a storyline with kids is one or both of theirs. Maybe there is some interview out there that explains the decision, but it does not interest me to locate it, if it does exist.

Hilarious scene! I enjoyed watching it again. So enjoyed the movie but now I'm sad it's over after all the anticipation. SO hope there will be a Psych 4! This cast should win the ensemble award somewhere as they are so great together, especially Dule and Roday. The story about Lassie was so poignant and broke my heart a little.
