met him once trying out guitars in a music store here in cologne in 2009. it was around noon and there were barely any customers, so me and the workers basically got a private workshop. he talked about tone, how he gave away greenie and played some jazz licks. i had never heard him play jazz before and he could do it all. it was a great day.

Gus G, I have played guitar all my life. I was recently hospitalized for about 2 weeks and discovered my house was bugarlized when I came home. My comics (30 year collection ) and all my guitars were taken. They even took my my brand new yamaha amp. I was destroyed. I sat down on the couch and saw this song cover of Gary Moore. Your playing helped me through a rough time.. I love the way you play. I wanted to express my gratitude. GUS G for PRESIDENT.

Just a simple thank you Gus. For your playing, your inspiration and your love for the instrument. I had the honor of meeting you back in 2007 at Atlanta Prog Power. One of the best days of my life. I got to tell my favorite guitarist what an inspiration he is and what his playing has meant to me. You rule Gus! Thank you!!!🤘

Love this piece I learnt so much from Gary's playing massive vibrato and those harmony's. strangely the original was recorded using a Jackson soloist, that red Jacksons just so nice .

I love charvel's and Jackson's love his new super strat even though I loved his star shape too... shit I love Gary Moore just as well hell of a tribute a d notice how he was professional in calling it a tribute and not a cover... he even got Gary Moore hellacious tone lol
