@@luvss6039 false, the Tunisian flag was inspired by the ottoman empire flag (the Turkish Republic adopted it too ) , after its participation in navarin battle and to differentiate themselves from the the rest of the empire. But the crescent and star were used previously by the hafside dynasty

@@wolfg2838 The crescent and star have mysterious origins. Its used as symbol of Islam. But it was also used by the Persians before Islam. I think they use it to bring good luck since they worshiped the Sun and the Stars and the planets and other objects in the sky.

I consider Tunisia as my second country ; i really feel like we're one nation . For example, here in Algeria you can see many people wearing the Tunisian flag T-shirts like in the video , and in Tunisia you may find Algeria flag waving beside Tunisia flag and in sometimes you find Palestine flag too like in the video ( the man holding that small Algerian symbol and the Palestinian flag with Tunisian one in the shop ) in addition to that , Tunisia is the most favorite tourism destination for Algerians Much love from Algeria 🇩🇿❤️🇹🇳

As a Turk, I was happy to hear that many Tunisians know and love my country. Actually, we also know and love Tunisia. Do you know why? Please don't laugh The Tunisian flag is very similar to the Turkish one. Besides, Tunisia is located next to Turkey in alphabetical order in the list of countries. When we wanted to open any social media account -many Turks, including me- chose Tunisia instead of Turkey on the computer screen by mistake. A small but interesting detail. Apart from that, our multicultural and secular structures make us two very similar countries. Foods, spices, music, clothing style... even more similar than the other Arab countries. 💕 from Türkiye.

No, we are not, and stop use turkification on us , islam is the state religion (This in constitution) , we respect our religion ,we are closer to maghrebi people and other arabs not turks , we speak arabic and use arabic letters , we don't sanctify the rulers, we do not exterminate minorities, we don't recognition this 🇮🇱 love only 🇵🇸 , we aren't hated by all our neighbors , our famous music is the maluf (an arab andalusian art ). Our famus dress is arab ( jebba ) , so we are not similar to turkey in anything

I have never been to Tunisia in my life. I know Tunisia and the Tunisian People as much as I see them on social media such as KZfaq and Instagram. So I cannot claim to know your culture very well. But I can honestly say that I don't see any similarity between a Tunisian and a Saudi Arabian except that they are both Arabs. Or between a Tunisian and an Iraqi. Or between a Tunisian and a Syrian. As far as I've seen on social media, Tunisians are secular, modern and open-minded people unlike the bigoted Arab regimes. That's why I expressed my sympathy for them. And bigoted Arab nationalists like you will not change my mind.

Turks worship ataturk , tunisians doesn't worship rulers . Tunisia a state of freedoms, and tunisians chose the islamists to represent them in parliamentary seats , the dictatorship was secular, and the majority of Islamists who's ruling today were in prison time of the secular Ben Ali (most arab regimes such as egypt, syria, saddam’s iraq and algeria are communism secular regimes) . We are similar to the rest of the arabs in language, traditions, religion , traditional architecture ,art and even deserts , look at central asians they don't look like you even thier cultures is Persian 🇮🇷 . There are some people in our country that claim to be berber ignoring the fact that Tunisia is deep-rootedly arabized unlike Algeria and Morocco. But don't get too nationalistic because Tunisia is a mixture of many ethnicities (Berbers, Arabs, Turks, Moors, Jews, Africans). Turkey hates all its neighbours and is hated by all of them (Except Azeris) so let's not be like them in this aspect.

As a Tunisian my favourite countries: 1- Turkey: Turkey surprisingly resembles us more than Arab countries: flags, shared history, secularism, liberal muslim-majority country, they are struggling with the islamists just like we do... Turkey is basically a more developed non-Arabophone Tunisia. 2- Canada: its people are very nice and friendly. My best trip was to Canada.

@@aminechouigui6287 Nahh Serbia is quite easy to conquer, it has enemies from the west to the south, its landlocked which makes it easier to transport troops and attack enemy lines, not to mention the high unrest in the country. Tunisia on the other hand has the mediteranian sea right above it and a desert from its southern borders, quite hard to take over if I have to say... Love the rlf country tho, nice people, beautiful beaches, and the flag is absolutely gourges! 🇹🇳🇹🇳

I'm in Tunisia for a holiday at a hotel in souse city, beautiful country, outstanding beaches, delicious food and welcoming people though sometimes there are some youngsters who are a bit annoying, they keep asking "oh where do you live, give me your phone number you're beautiful, you can come to my house, can I have a picture with you etc" and when you ignore them or simply say no, they keep trying. Other than that, the country is spot on.
