SMG is a perfect game. Wide emotional spectrum, escapism to the max, and any negative feelings tend to wind up overshadowed by the fact that you're having fun when you play. Even if you're not doing anything totally important, like swimming with penguins or seeing the sights. SMG is a perfect game, and it's something I'll say until I die.

This song is perfect. Honestly if this was the theme for the entire game I wouldn’t question it. It just feels like I’m flying through the universe, exploring and zooming without a care. Amazing.

Gusty Garden Galaxy playing at the end of the film is what did it for me. When I heard that, the realization of finally getting a Mario movie inspired by the video game hit me like a truck, and it made me proud to be a longtime fan of the Mario series. How Marvel fans are when they spot easter eggs in their films, is how I was the whole movie. This is my MCU.

Peach saying the universe was big or something along those lines, Yoshi being teased in the second movie (sort how he made an appearance in Galaxy 2), the nihilistic Luma. The track “Level Complete” in the official score has this playing as its last theme in the last minute as a tease. It all makes too much sense.

Charles Martinet's 27 years of voicing the most iconic and beloved video game character of all time comes to an end. Galaxy was my first Mario game, and is eponymous to me for a simpler time in my life, before I had to figure out all this adulting. The soundtrack always ends up making me cry. A sincere thank you to Charles and the entire Mario team throughout the years for all the happy core childhood memories ❤. Your voice will be missed Charles, but never forgotten 😢

It’s not just nostalgia, you know. Both the composition, direction, and execution are genuinely extraordinary. I will never forget the first time I got to Gusty Garden and I completely stopped playing because I was so in awe of the music alone, and I was maybe 16 or so. There’s definitely nostalgia, but I think attributing the feeling of beauty to nostalgia alone greatly undersells the skill and mastery of the medium possessed by Koji Kondo and the sound team for this game. ❤️

To me, this song is more than just a video game OST. Tomorrow morning, I'll be selling my first car. I learned how to drive manual with it. It got me through the pandemic, college, a relationship and 3 jobs. I drove it the entirety of the east coast. I can't think of a more fitting song to play going to the dealership.

Its crazy how pieces like this and buoy base galaxy are just one-offs in random levels, yet the motifs could be carried through and entire soundtrack. When talent/love/dedication overflows, this is what happens.

only reason I got 3D all-stars, to re-experience hearing this blear on my television like it did all those years ago, man this game carried my childhood and I still adore it will all of my heart, thank you Nintendo for making one of the best games ever,

I've going through a tough time, as anyone else would. I am not to emotional about anything, even when my grandfather died I didn't shed a tear, until I stumbled upon this. When I was a kid i played this game god knows how many times, it not only was entertaining but also a source of happiness and emotions. My love for space has, without any doubts, came from this game. I hadn't thought about this game for a long time but when this video came up and i clicked out of pure boredom it was like a new world had opened, when the song started i started crying like never before all these emotions that I've had locked up inside me came out all at once. I remembered how happy I was, I remembered how life was so simple yet so fulfilling and amazing, I remembered about my grandpa and how he thought me how to be a man, I remembered how beautiful space truly is and much much more. I know this is just a stupid story about a guy who is depressed and found out that life was way more exciting through memories and nostalgia, but that guy wants to tell you, person that is reading this comment from anywhere in the world, life isn't what you think it is. You may feel sad and depressed but one thing is for sure, it wasn't like that when you played this game for the first time, wasn't it? Then life can be amazing again just like that time. You can always find meaning and happiness no matter where you are and how you are, being from this game, a family member or any thing. This probably didn't make any sense as I'm not very good at righting and I'm crying my eyes out while listening to this music and writing this but yeah, where ever you are good luck, I know you will make it, and remember, if some time you feel lonely or sad just look at the stars and know that a person exactly like you is doing the same, you are not alone. I hope you find happiness.

Im balling my eyes out. Its hard like a train to think of it that way. Both my grandpas died in a short period and i never felt the same happiness. Until i listened to this gem. Just all those good memories. Its truelly a work of art and a staple in gaming history. I hope you have found you happiness and may god bless you in the best way possible.

Try listening to the Champion Road soundtrack from Super Mario 3D World. It is a recreation of this exact soundtrack, and it will make you feel the exact same way. I hope you like it!
