Yes, JD Vance is a veteran, yes he is a lawyer, but even more he is someone who went from living in a trailer with almost no food to eat (yes, 'privileged' whites can be poor too -- which is why leftist critics despised the "Hillbilly Elegy" film, but audiences loved it), to getting to be asked to be VP of the USA. And he did it all without a government handout (more hate from the left, as that is all they want). JD Vance is as real as you get to the American Dream.

I would add (though not really a qualification like you are listing, but more a rebuttal to the first argument liberals make) he doesn't appear to be hung up in the past or hold grudges. "But JD Vance said!!!" But unlike the left holds on to... Clearly doesn't hold any negative feelings of Vance's opinion of Trump back in 2016. The portrayal of someone that can change and come out of the media narrative (despite the liberal argument) is actually a strength and testament.

@@TrumpsGuilt I was homeless long story short, I was able to qualify for a job program for the disabled. I got hired on a large company. The guy who hired me told me specifically that I would be getting two dollars more an hour because of the Trump tax breaks. My employer decided to invest some of that into employee retention by offering higher wages. I used the opportunity of the economy at the time to straighten out my credit. I saved whatever money I didn’t need for household expenses. I saved up enough for a down payment on my own home. So I basically went from homeless to homeowner.

Kamala Harris' only qualification is being a Black East Indian married to a white male. But J.D. Vance is married to an Indian American, and has three Indian American kids, so Asian Americans can identify with Vance, because HE has CHOSEN to make them part of HIS FAMILY. And his wife is far better qualified as a lawyer than Harris. She was chief editor of the Yale Law Review when JD was on staff, and she was picked by Kavanaugh and Chief Justice Roberts to clerk for them. She knows two members of the Supreme Court and their legal analysis approaches intimately.
