Cover sheets for classified documents are a real thing and are used to not only prevent someone from looking at documents classified above their clearance, as well as reminding the caretaker about how they should be stored (i.e., in a safe). If someone takes a peek at something they aren't cleared for, then that means they had to lift the cover sheet and look and that could mean some serious repercussions for that person. If these were actual cover sheets for those documents . . . why are they showing the documents without them covering the documents but are only redacted. Which means there is a camera with pictures of Secret/Top Secret documents . . . where is that camera now?

No. What the FBI had to admit, was that the cover sheets were not found at the Trump estate. The FBI brought the sheets with them to the raid for the purpose of adding them to the photo. This is why they had to admit that the photo had been doctored.

as a former military person that dealt with classified material, those top sheets are normal. you have a pile of papers on a clipboard, and the top sheet has the classifications of everything under that top sheet. Thats how they are when they are printed off, and then passed to whomever needs to see them. Usually OPS, CO, XO, and Duty Officer sees them this way.

When I was in the US Army in the seventies, stored documents did not have cover sheets, but when someone carried them from one building to another they had cover sheets that looked like those. I don't know about interior movements, not part of my job.

I was in the Air Force in the 1980s, and I've seen such documents with those cover sheets being stored in a safe or on my commander's desk. I wasn't even curious since I only had a Secret/NATO Secret clearance, didn't have a Need to Know, and wanted to stay out of prison.

I worked maintenance at rented military offices in northern Virginia. They put those sheets on their work whenever they left their desks. So i couldn't peek. They also would gather around 8 at a time to drink coffee and look over my shoulder while i was installing a door. Same sheets same work ethic.
