I did gutters a long time ago, but I had forgot how to do mitres, make tabs, etc. So I watched this to see the one piece artistry. I think I'll stick to 2 piece for my first gutter in 30 years, lol. What I had forgot about, and you reminded me, is PAINT! I remember that we had found some paint that matched perfectly, and it really cleaned up the corners a lot. I liked the video a lot. Thanks for posting.

Your red and green snips are too dull that's why the edges are rolling and look jagged. Other than that this is a great method to cut miters I never did them in one piece but I like the way they look. I'm just so used to cutting them in two pieces I'm fast like that but if I could learn how to do it this way and get fast I would rather do it cuz yours look a lot better in one piece. And it's easier to seal the miter with silicone while it's on the ground instead of doing it from a ladder especially on a two-story house

i admire your strategy, though it's totally unnecessary. i've done over 5000 houses in my career and it's much easier and faster to make it out of 2 pieces. also, what are those screws you use? looks like an eye sore. you make two pieces and leave a little extra to seam around the corner, not "use a little paint around here".
