i’m so glad you guys pointed out this injustice!! i asked a colleague of mine to identify this pianist. her name is Chiao-Wen Cheng.

High praise! To each and every performer of this score, which is no cakewalk! Even more impressive is how you found, and then *together* communicated some very uncommon emotive content. The kind of individual emotional spectrum that's intense, pent-up, hardly reconcilable. And: that seems to be incommunicable except by musical means. Many cheers! Mark

Agreed! This is a DUO. It's incredible to me that this still happens; the piece's title is Sonata for Cello and Piano. I've played the piano part -- it's not an accompaniment! (Even if it were, all performers should be listed.)
