Guy won the first Australian Idol. He is now one of Australia’s most popular entertainers. He is now a judge on The Voice Guy wrote this song for a family member who was battling mental illness. His emotions in presenting this song are very real and raw.

This song brings absolute tears every time I hear it. I just don’t know how he sings it without breaking down, every time. This song about depression. His other fantastic song called Choir is about losing his mate. Guy won Australian Idol back in 2003 and he has become a judge later for the Voice Australia. We have had a lot of talent begin from talent shows. Prior to that bands had to prove their worth live in pubs around the country to get anywhere. But I’ve just realised that Guy has been producing music for 20 years. Where did that time go?

Guy is a Judge on The Voice Australia and each Judge performed a song. Guy wrote this song for his cousin who he helped get through a tough time where his thoughts were that 'the world would be a better place without him' But Guy was there for him and so this song came from his own personal experience of someone who has mental health issues..."Standing With You" is just a beautiful song. Love Guy he is a legend here in Australia. Thanks so much for reacting to this and your kind words. I hope we can see more reactions to Guy Sebastian

Yes, Guy won the very first season of Aust. Idol way back in 2003, he was only 22. He is now a huge deal here and he is a judge on The Voice Aust. so he often performs on there. We have had quite a few big success stories come from these shows actually. Guy is amazing. Thank you for this lovely reaction.

Guy’s one of the best voices on the planet. He’s an incredible songwriter and musician and has written some profoundly beautiful songs. He performed this song when he was one of the judges on The Voice Australia. If you want to see another side of Guy, check out his Eurovision Performance of Tonight again, just amazing.

Love this song it is so moving when you listen to it knowing why he wrote it. When you can listen to Choir song about losing his great friend and musical collaborator Luke Liang, who died following a battle with mental health.

Thank you! Believer is another awesome song. It’s about his wife. They’ve been together over 20yrs. I mentioned on a Pentatonix video that Guy brought me to your channel and within an hour or so you guys did this. I know you didn’t do it for me but I love coincidences like that. I’m sure you have a billion suggestions of videos for PTX but their upgrade of “Gold” by Kiiara is my favorite, this week, you should listen to the original artist first to truly appreciate Mitch’s genius. How funny, recommend Guy on a PTX and recommend PTX on a Guy video. Ok, maybe you’ll like my quirkiness and do “Gold” 🥰

This Guy can sang for real. He is definetly one of the best male singers in modern time in my oppinion. He should have a global career. But I guess Australia is big enogh. Just like John farnham. Check out battle scars from his home studio live performence. Its freakin awsome.

Your just talking about Guys voice which is truly amazing and I always recommend live performances, but sometimes with not seeing the video, you're missing the whole meaning of the song. Which is a shame because it's about stopping someone from committing suicide and having those thoughts. Guy is a judge on The Voice. You listend to the Australian stars jimmy barns and guy and john can you listen to a star from aotearoa (new zealand) stan walker i think first to listen to would be amazing grace its actually starts as amazing grace but turns into a song he wrote

A classic example of these talent shows is Beth Hart, if I remember correctly, she destroyed the opposition, who were very talented but could not match her singing abilities but at the end of the day could not reach the standards of the corrupt music industry. She is the most talented singers around today.

Another one is Arlo Sim who was on The Voice Australia, but lost out to Bella Taylor Smith. The most amazing 18-year-old I’ve ever heard. Check out Somewhere only we know, or his blind audition where he covered a Yebba song. Beth is a real talent, but it’s a cutthroat world out there and it doesn’t matter how talented you are. It all comes down to luck.
