Great question. I think being nervous is directly related to self doubt. You can reduce self doubt by preparing for an interview. I will list the steps I would take before every interview. 1. Read the job description and study the specifics of it. For example, if company is looking for someone with specific knowledge of a system... learn about that system (if you know it-refresh it). 2. Learn about most common interview questions. This is something HR would ask you mostly. Stuff like: " Tell me about yourself" will come up. 3. Study interview questions that will most likely be asked for that specific job (what ever the job title is). You can listen to videos or read articles related to it. 4. Keep in mind that you are going to have a conversation with someone who might be just as nervous as you are (even if they don't show it). These are normal people like you and me. 😁 In the end, being prepared for an interview is the most important thing. Mistake will be made and you will learn from them; which will reduce nervousness that much more. Never, ever give up on your dreams. 😊

Good question. It's pretty normal to have job gap at some point especially now days where a lot of people have been furloughed. There are many reasons why you'd have a job gap which I'm sure the case is with you too. You don't have to provide details; a short answer is fine. Just be honest if interviewer asks about it... 😁
