I'm sure he would rather not suffer from them, but he seems to be making the best of it and is able to have a giggle at himself. Nobody should feel sorry for the guy, he clearly isn't sorry. Not to say there are never points where he doesn't feel bad. But what can ya do? Just say "fuck it" and move on.

For people with Tourette's, there is *NO FILTER* when they're really nervous or excited. Imagine having to say the most hurtful, shameful, inappropriate, and/or taboo shit to people who are showing you respect, paying attention to you and taking you seriously. You don't fucking *want* to hurt or disrespect them, of course, because you're trying to reciprocate the respect they're showing you, but it's like an itch that absolutely will not go away until you scratch it.

I have never cried and laughed so hard at the same time. I'm very proud of him for what he has done and how he has turned his life change and used it to help bring awareness to something that has been around for so long but not many know about it.

Qball is a goddamned hero. Seriously. Stepping up and showing that Tourette's doesn't have to destroy your life. I have worked with a couple of kids with Tourette's (tics not cursing) and that's a tough thing for them.

To go on national television like that & speak plain about an affliction that most people don't want to know about because it's not sexy like war or famine etc. Well done to both of them!!!

I would hang out with this guy any day of the week.

When he speaks it may seem amusing. However it’s a devastating disease which keeps most people from ever leaving the house. People seeing him on the street may think he’s drunk acting up but he can’t help it. I command him for his strong drive to not allow this condition get in the way of his life.

My father has tourettes and I have so much respect for him with what hes dealt with through his life. Its heartbreaking that hes 71 years old and is an extremely hard working tractor trailer mechanic and that deals with middle aged coworkers knocking over his 5 foot tall tool box, they send harassing letters to him, and they go as low as to mimic his disability. It's also hurtful when we go out in public, even just to have a nice quiet family dinner, and you see people staring, laughing, and even making comments because of something he has no control over. It truly shows their ignorance and how pathetic they are. If anyone sees someone in public like Lewis or my father, dont laugh, stare, or mimic them....Say Hi to them bc I will guarantee youd end up with a lifelong best friend.

Top lad good on you kid for dealing with tourettes in the way you do.i had your problem when I was very young until my mid twenties and then it gradually tapered off.i learned to control my tics but they can still affect me now and I'm 47. Hopefully one day you will regain normality but never be ashamed of the tics.

I have this issue the same as him... i live a very hard life but im getting treatment.. it started at 7yrs old and thats when my mum realized something was wrong with me.... i was diagnosed with O.C.D, Tourette Syndrome, A.D.H.D.. And i may have Autism.. i am now 11yrs old and have broken 2 bones becasue of my Tourettes when i move my bones... and then they just got out of hand.. and then i was in NHS. Can you please like this comment for me and all these people out there that have these issues.. it would mean alot! Thank you :)
