I am a masters student with no experience or training in writing a thesis and have been confronted with this Herculean task of writing one in 12 weeks. I am delving into a quantitative study studying the idea of country ownership as one of the means of achieving climate finance effectiveness and how is it interpreted by the recipient countries of climate finance. The three elements of country ownership identified are alignment of finance with national needs and priorities, decision making power vested with national institutions and stakeholders and lastly using country systems, laws, policies and institutions to ensure accountability to the donors. Now, how to identify a theoretical framework is my big challenge in my qualitative study. Would you have any thoughts!! Big thank you from Netherlands!
