Pace RC429 Part 1: The Trail Bike Build

Pace have designed their new RC429 to be the ultimate versatile adventurer for everything from tough trail riding to rigid forked, drop bar adventuring. In part one I take it round my local singletrack with a 140mm fork, lightweight wheels and Burgtec finishing kit to see how it performs as a proper mountain bike.

Looks great. Same naming convention as Whyte and their hardtails. Another UK focused brand probably a bit cheaper 😎

Looks great, I have a Cotic Solaris max for just the same purpose and absolutely love it but wonder how the Pace compares as it does look good

Lovely looking bike that is 💪🏾 How do those tyres hold up? I'm looking to switch out from some stock assedais and need a jack of all trade combo .

This would be super niche, but is there any way you could do a guide to different types of steel bike tubing? I’ve got 525 on my new P7, but have no idea what that means different to 853.
