I got the Hourglass and Latro's Shifting Sword in the same Black Morass run when TBC Classic launched. Oh and it was my first HC run of said dungeon. I couldn't belive my luck... I remember thinking "this is it... this is the dungeon that I'll have to farm for the next month..." and BAM! :)

i farmed that shit multiple times in vanilla and tbc for my 39 twinks, took me hundreds of hours each time. but when you oneshot a lvl 60 mage with one wf + weapon proc you know it was worth it.

these swords are rare but they are not 1%, the protector one is around 10% and the other one is about 2% if i remember correct. Had this sword many times in classic and its a beast for lvling a paladin

I got the other sword on my first run back in Vanilla for my warrior. Second sword took me from lvl 45 to maybe 50. I leveled by doing ZF runs. Good times.

I had the ZF swords on my rogue in retail, didn't realize how rare they were but I just spammed ZF for fun. My dumbass got curious and combined them and was very disappointed you could not uncombine them, my first epic and I couldn't wield it and lost my badass swords :(

Back when I had no idea what I was doing in vanilla, POD dropped in an Uldaman run. I was on a ret paladin and someone ninja'd it and hearthed. I was devastated. Looking back on it, I had no idea what it was and was just going to use it level, so it would have been a huge waste. I've heard tales of people transferring servers just to secure a POD.

I killed steelsnap at lvl 28 or 29 on my warr. Popped retaliation soon as i charged in and by the time i killed him the other 2 were half health so it was easy to clean up. Dont think i even needed to use a healing pot either

So, I saw this video and had to check for myself: I do in fact still have Sul'Thraze the Laser. Grinded the shit out of that place 15 years ago to get that sword and its sitting safely in my bank right now. I was really afraid I would've cleared it out in handling all my clutter, but nope.

Back in Vanilla my hunter got both of them in one run. I didn't "hunter loot it" no one else in the group could use it. I never combined them. When TBC came out on Illidan we all agreed to kill a Pitlord. As soon as it died I combined and "received" the loot trolling the whole raid into thinking that I got an epic off the boss. The troll didn't last long but while it did it was amazing!

What he failed to mention about the PoD ax is level 39 reck bomb paladins in classic. All the procs pretty much just 1 shot people with stacks

Sul'thraze and Sang'Thraze are the easiest 1% drop weapons you can get in any dungeon, in any expansion, in any mmo ever, in any game ever, they are the absolute most common swords with a "1% drop rate" in gaming history. The real 1% chance is being in a party that won't fight you for it

00.001% from about 20 white clay golems in uldaman. U could do 100,000 runs and no drop. My shammy name was thewarmachne on arugal.

I got my sulthraze in 2 runs on my alt warrior in classic :D i wasnt even aiming for it just normal xp runs. but i spend all my luck for a year in advance i guess.

I farmed them both for Sul'Thraze in Vanilla - Sword is great, but not 1% drop rates each. it's between 8% and 14%, I believe. Single run, probably about 1%

I’ve genuinely had POD drop in early vanilla wow (not hardcore) and have it ninja looted by a hunter - I was a Druid so I didn’t really care but looking back I can see why the warrior in our group was pissed 😂

I have thunderfury, i have corrupted ashbringer. Dude i leveled from 40 probably up to 53 doing ONLY ZF and never saw either sword drop.
