I love how the scripts in these types of guest videos are usually focused to not have too many jokes in them and be mostly informative but Scott's natural voice makes some of his lines sound so sarcastic lmao it's great

i mean, it's more animated than coded. a: the wii u already had transfer capabilities from wii to wii u and b: this functionality probably needed to exist anyway as a failsafe or sumn. why they made a set of entirely new character designs for it, i have no clue

The 3DS has a robot for the internet settings in the system settings. Since the 3DS and Wii U are siblings, maybe robots were originally a bigger motif before they did nothing else with it.

Maybe the one with the robots was the original sequence, but they changed it to Pikmin pretty much last minute to add that Nintendo flair. Changing it for Wii to Wii U, but not Wii U to Wii U might be an oversight since you (+ testers) are way more likely to use the first function rather than the second, especially close to launch.

Regarding the Rito on the Castle Town architecture in Twilight Princess HD, one of the artists from Tantalus has commented on that. He said he designed it himself with the intention of being a Zelda story he'd like to see one day, and isn't meant to represent anything canon.

Here is a cooler easter egg for the Mii Channel: Although people often think it's kinda lame how your Miis are basically statues and don't move like in the 3DS or Wii Mii Channels, that really isn't the case actually. If you leave your Miis on the screen for several minutes, they actually start to come to life, but be careful if you touch your controller they'll transition back to their default. In case you didn't know, you call also make them do different poses by tapping on them with the Wii remote. Each pose has a different animation... Like, they actually did this. They animated these Miis and no one ever sees them!

actually the castle town murals been solved essientally and the devs over at the studio nintendo outsourced it to as nintendo was working on Botw at the time and a lead artist at Tantalus(the studio Nintendo had create the twilight princess hd) said he made just because it looks cool

The reason for the Mii in the final level of Luigi U is because it’s a level that revolves around the Acorn Suit, a power up that Nabbit can’t use :)

one problem i have with videos where scott the woz feature him, all of the lines & dialogue don’t feel like scott is saying them. it feels like someone else wrote the script & decided to have feature scott as the narrator at the very last minute. and from now on, everytime scott cameos or narrates a video, i want scott himself to rewrite the entire script so all of the narration and dialogue sounds exactly what scott would say in his videos

I think the logic is that the Great Sea is made from some unnatural water made by the Gods to seal away Hyrule, and thus it can't support the Zora's lifestyle and necessities.
