I grew up with overly protective Christian parents who hated the music I listened to. I couldn't play SOAD, Cattle Decapitation, Metallica, or anything like that. We shared a love for cheesy alien movies and for some reason they were ok with me listening to my radio edited Gwar cassette singles. On Christmas in 2007 (i was 15) my mom got me 2 passes to a Gwar show in Chicago on the condition that she would chaperone me so we could leave if she thought it was too much. Within seconds of them hitting the stage, Oderus was already pissing blood all over us and everyone else and I got so nervous that I would have to leave before the first song. Wildly enough, she thought it was hilarious and we got to see the whole show. I've never actually met any of the members face to face but all of these dudes mean the world to me. Thank you for giving me hope at an early age when I was too afraid of being myself.

This song was one of the best Dave ever wrote. Incredible lyrics, but so sad at the same time. I loved you Dave Brockie, i grew up with your twisted yet brilliant mind. I saw you live dozens of times here in massachusetts. Rest in peace brother, you are very missed.

Cory was such an inspiration when i first started playing guitar 12+ years ago. As much as i miss Oderus/David, i really wish people would remember Cory in the same amount. Cory wrote some of he most killer riffs in their catalog.

First time I saw Gwar was at the Riverview in 95. When they came out, they were huge, took up the whole stage. I threw an ice cube into Gor Gor's mouth and he fell over (unplanned). Saw them live 10+ times, always bringing newbies to the bloodbath (almost all of them came back for more). My last show I got kicked out for crowd surfing (venue rules, not Gwar); which tainted an already obscured view. However, I hope Gwar keeps going; I've got some boys that I'd love to take to a show (when they're old enough).

Been listening to GWAR since I was a kid in the early 90s. First song I ever heard was Jack The World on a Beavis and Butthead Moron-a-Thon. The rest is history.

Seen gwar 13 times from the age of 13 and I'm 40 now. I was at the Vancouver show right after Cory passed , was fukkin sad. Was hard on the heart seeing them the 1st time without Oderus, but most people went nuts when they played Fukk this place and got to the Oderus part. Thank you Gwar for continuing and extra thanks and prayers to Dave and Cory/Oderus and Flattus may they continue kicking ass in the universe!!!
