Its the first time since we kill everything that theyve played around with a multitude of sounds. I liked metal gwar more admittedly but old gwar had a certain charm to it because of all the different sounds theyd have. This album made me happy for the transition. I get most fans now havent looked into their whole catalog. Most fans listen to violence has arrived onwards. Added in scumdgods and america maybe. Even tho those albums still had a lot of variety to em. I cant imagine a more logical step to take for the band to take now than to go back

@@rowley66 Honestly yeah that's what I thought when I heard it! It reminded me of some older albums I liked, but it's still a change of pace from what they've been putting out recently.

Remember, GWAR was heavily inspired by punk bands like the Dead Kennedys early on. They may have gotten heavier over time but they're a punk band at heart.

Green jelly ,gwar and power man 5000 are the only non Washington bands I see in Seattle really anymore!

So some are going to hear this and think its selling out. Others who know are going to hear a kind of charm that hasnt been around since we kill everything. 23 years since theyve had an album that they could play around. Im glad to hear it

I feel like the crowd lost most of its energy when they played this in STL, and picked back up when they started playing heavier stuff again.

@@khulric3479 in Fort Wayne I was the same and the crowd was mixed. It's a decent song but it doesn't feel right. What it is about it is GWAR. Just give it time see how it goes. All bands have changed some not everybody liked the newer stuff

@@user-lz2bn6eo1j this makes me unironically aggrivated. Gwar used to experiment sooooooo much and it was such a part of the charm. They always sounded different even from song so song. It wasnt until their btcy fans in the late 90s got sick of it and wanted them to stay heavy. Their music lost so much charm when they went metal. This album was such a breth if fresh air

I'm not big on this 1 though I'm not a big rock and roll guy, so good to hear there's a lot of variation on the album, will definitely check it out.

Ill admit musically better once they did violence has arrived. Overall. But from hell o to we kill everything they played with genres and differing sounds much more. There is a level of charm that old gwar had with their range that metal gwar lost. And after 20 years...the first true album without daves influence (the blood of gods was still more in the vein of what dave left off doing) im glad they chose to be musically less serious. Lyrically it gets more serious but i dont mind. Bishop has to make his own mark. No matter what this dumb fan base thinks
