Obviously us Americans get to see GWAR all the time but Europeans don’t. So they are in awe when they do. We are afforded the luxury of being desensitized by it so we can fucking lose it.

I feel like when they take large outdoor stages, this is generally the response. It's best to see them in small indoor venues. I remember seeing them in a fairly small venue and it was a lot better than this. Plus everyone then got covered in gore and was a part of the experience.

@@eliteteamkiller319 this is true i was there and it was a case of just looking at the visuals on show Also the crowd looks way bigger than i remeber but the lack of movment from the crowd may have made it seam like a smaller gathering I do remember staring a mosh pit with these teenagers which was fun and somhow i lost the souls of my shoes in the procces if i remember correctly this was kind of an odd slot on the last night I think the last thing on full stop was lordy so was deffo a monster theme going on that year

The crowd in Wacken usually is electric af. Compare this crowd to Lordi’s crowd year before thid. Crowd was way more alive in that concert. They just simply didn’t like the band. I’m pretty sure when Slipknot performs there in 2020 the crowd will be absolutely bonkers throughout performance.
