Honestly, I believe Viego and Isolde had their own motives for marrying each other. Viego was captivated by her beauty and wanted to marry her. Isolde saw her opportunity to rise from the slums to a privileged life in the castle(something she always dreamt of). However, I think they both found some sort of happiness with each other during a short amount of time (we all know Viego spent all his time being with her).

Gwen has a british accent because Isolde was obsessed with the royalty and made the doll like she was the most royal princess of them all. And when we think of royalty we think of england so it's well thought out

Gwen design just made sense. Her interactions, story setup, voicelines and skill animations literally put justice to all the negative tralalas surrounding her on her first gameplay trailer.

The French version of her voice is super cool, she uses old French from the late 1700s (which has a lot of weirdly placed s's in the words) to make you realize that she really is from another time, before the language modernized to the Runeterran we know now. It's an amazing touch I wished was used in the English voice, I'd love a Shakespearean talking champ in the game.

When I saw this quote, I thought it was because Yorick’s Maiden was another fragment. This was also supported by Viego’s quote where he calls the maiden Isolde.

You know what would make a good story is to find out that Zyra is the former Ruined Queen , and the dollmaker for Gwen . It would make sense she did magic , and had the ability to fuse , or merge life together. As she was being consumed by a man eating plant she attemtped to save herself by fusing with the man eating plant this same magic fused her doll with life dropping it on the ground not knowing who she was anymore with her memories merged with an ancient plant her memories drowned out by the existence of thousands of years vs her limited timeframe.

My thoughts: Gwen didn't have thoughts or memories as a doll, but she thinks she did because she holds a powerful part of Isolde's soul and her memories. I also think it'd be cool if Isolde was actually the source of the mist, all of it, with Viego having the worst parts of Isolde's soul due to being a sup par husband. This might explain why Yorick seems friendly to her, potentially having another dark part of Isolde's soul.
