GWR Diverts at Yeovil Junction 1/3/2019

Today I took the opportunity to film GWR Trains at Yeovil J as their main Route is closed at Whiteball Tunnel
This was the last time I’ll ever film HST’s on the West of England line due to their imminent withdrawal from all routes except Cardiff Central - Devon and Cornwall!
I do hope you enjoy this video and if you can visit Yeovil Railway Centre too!

Great video Dave, good mix of trains. I have yet to see a 43 in the flesh, hoping the Flying Banana will go through Wigan again soon.

How frequent are trains from Basingstoke to Yeovil Junction? Shame to see the HSTs phased out but at least they have a brilliant replacement! 😀

What is the difference between the class 59s and the class 66s? :)

engine 59s have an V16 and the 66 has an V12 engine the fuel tank is larger on the 66 compared to the 59 66 are weaker than the 59s and the traction motors
