Gwyneth was complicit and played the Hollywood game and that’s why she doesn’t have much to say. She’s uncomfortable during this interview. Like one of the biggest men (who is responsible for her career) in Hollywood has been convicted and you don’t have much to say. She is a victim hence why she wanted to help, the only difference with her is that she went along to get along. Harvey owned her, which is probably why she left Hollywood and chose a different career path because she was sick of being under his control, he was the top man so where else was she going to go. Fraud!

Watch her Oscar acceptance speech where she praises and thanks Harvey and that was well after he did all this. She was a rich girl and she did not have to be a famous actress. She tolerated him like everyone else to get the fame and fortune she desired. How convenient to speak once you got everything you wanted. She did not speak out until the powers that be gave the green light to do so. She did nothing noble at all. There are also so many other predators in Hollywood that nobody is talking about.

Predators in these industries do that all the time. Savannah is one of the worst interviewers I have ever witnessed. She makes me uncomfortable to watch. That's how bad it is. A total amateur way way out of her league. I cannot believe she is on network tv. If this were a podcast or Buzzfeed I would be just as uncomfortable and cringy. She tries sooo hard to be pals with the guest. I have no idea how she got her job or maintains it but if I were a celebrity it would be an instant NO as soon as I found out she was interviewing me. So so cringy to watch any interview she does.

I don't really watch a lot of Gwyneth Paltrow interviews, but this one is definitely boring and dry. Interestingly, Gwyneth is actually a very good interviewer and seems so. much more engaged, when interviewing Kerry Washington: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7qdfc2b3ZemYKs.html Her disposition is very nonchalant during this NBC interview, but when she is conducting her own interviews for Goop, she's so much more involved and full of life.

You’re a fool and if you want the truth watch the videos and scores of photos with her fawning over Weinstein, sitting on his lap at functions and referring to him as a father figure. She is part of the Hollywood girls who did his bidding in order to get an Oscar on the mantle even though she didn’t earn it and how dare you reference Jesus Christ in defence of anyone associated with Hollywood and it’s rampant sexual misconduct and child abuse. I feel sorry for you and your sad worship of these vile people. Check out on video how Meryl Streep fawned and praised Weinstein and how she referred to him as ‘God the Punisher’ she was NOT one of his girls and earned her Oscar through talent but she certainly knew what he was and what he was doing, which makes her just as guilty.

I agree with you but your kinda missing the point. Having money and connections is important when obtaining power. When she first started out she wasnt powerful enough to take him down. He would have ruined her. After decades of hard work, her name/brand holds a lot of weight in the industry so, yeah. It would make sense for her to speak out now. You cant always strike at the first opportunity. Sometimes you need to be patient and wait. I would actually argue that it takes more courage to do it now since she has more to lose.

I clicked on this video because of the title of this video but there was nearly a mention of it so no wonder the people commenting are angry and blaming GP for orchestrating a publicity stunt. I am more bothered by the fact that I felt like the interviewer seemed to be insulting GP by her choice to ask questions coming from a passive aggressive stance. It makes it sound like the interviewer has a bone to pick with GP. Then I realized that this is a KZfaq video for NBC. (So Hi whoever edits and manages this channel) At the end GP does a sort of checkmate move by inviting the interviewer to get her ears pierced again, “... right after this.” as a way of saying I am willing to prove to you and the world that I am not this person you are painting me to be (Stupid, deserving of being mistreated, not really known anymore as an actress anymore etc.) Shame on you NBC. You once again showed us why you covered up for Matt Lauer. So sickening. #metoo

So wait Brad Pitt knew and didn’t go to police, but privately confronted Weinstein , who just rolled over and said yes Brad , then brad Pitt becomes incredibly famous and ends up with Angelina another alleged victim who didn’t speak up, not to mention raising the subject in a reasonable fashion as husband and wife. So lets just think about this, both husband to Angelina and super hero, brad Pitt, the protector of Paltrow , none of them went to police years ago on allegations of sexual misconduct and yet all are incredibly wealthy from Hollywood. So who are the victims and who are the purveyors.

Vickie Garri Congrats, you are now an official part of the problem. Victim shaming fuels predators & their minions. Shame begets shame begets shame. Ask not what sexual assault victims can do for society, ask what YOU can do to make society safe for sexual assault victims. Your remarkable ignorance and lack of empathy proves the point. Internet trolls & ugly minded gossips are a big reason why survivors say nothing. Comments like yours disgust me,

@@i.e.presents638 maybe if the people that spoke out about Clinton would have been believed and we had responded responsibly, this would have been stopped then, we didn't. Women must speak up when it happens, easier to prove and believe and if we really want to protect other women it's the only answer.

@@i.e.presents638 let's be honest Gwyneth and the rest of Hollywood were complacent; this was an open secret and they chose to stay silent, despite them having a platform and credibility as established actors to expose him.

Oh yeah ? And she would have been blacklisted like Ashley Judd and Mira sorvino (the latter an academy award winner ). Both lost Their careers for a lot less than speaking out publically - simply for rejecting him . What do you think he would have done to her for going to the press ?

@@dinavienna An actor can work not just in big productions for Hollywood though. If an oportunity for a million dollar job was put before you for the cost of your dignity would you take it? I can understand that that is a horrible way to manipulate people but at the end you have te power to take it or not. You can lose you're credibilty and that actually means something for people that have values. For me, it was reather convinient for her to jump into the weagon and bash him, it was expected for her to do so. Otherwise if she wouln't say anything about Weinstein, people would've seen her as a coward or as an ally of his. Do you hear any celeb actually defending him? No, it was just a PR move at the end.

I'm disgusted by Harvey Weinstein's behavior however I'm also disgusted by male and female actors coming out with their stories, patting themselves on the back like self-aggrandizing heroes after the fact. A lot of it is b******* because if they really cared they would have done something right then and there but pursuing Fame and Fortune comes with risks that many are willing to take, tossing their morals and standards out the window for the once in a lifetime chance to become rich and famous. Half of them can't act for s***. It's the Hollywood publicity machine that makes a lot of these people more than what they actually are. Most of us have been suckers for it at one time or the other including myself, not anymore.

Horrible. Guthrie did most of the talking, singing her praises of Paltrow. She asked Paltrow no "hard-ball" questions. All of them were "fluffy," with no substance. And Paltrow's answers were guarded and didn't reveal much of anything.

This (whole) interview was very uncomfortable to watch. This host is so desperate to make Gwyneth her bestie "the friendship is real...oh then let's go get another piercing!" It's so awkward. Inserting herself into the conversation like she has a personal relationship with her mom. You can read her body language she's annoyed and like I barely even know you. Paltrow held her own when she threw out there what 'others' thought of her.
