I did Lara Croft's acrobatics from a couple of the games! Thank you for watching, feel free to leave a comment with what you would like to see next. I am planning to upload more often this year.
Before anyone comments it, I realize that she does double flips quite a lot of times, but that was just too difficult, if it were to also look good, so I decided to simplify it to just one flip.

Alison Carroll was the model/gymnast who gave life to Lara in Underworld. They used her as a model to recreate the acrobatic scenes and the character.

I like that you chose Lara's outfit from Underworld. To me, it looked like the most functionally athletic gear from the LAU trilogy while still retaining Lara's sex appeal (she likes to flaunt, hehe). Plus, it was also worn by Alison Carroll, another gymnast who modeled as Lara for that game's promotion. And I think the developers drew inspiration from Alison's physique and gave Lara a bit more muscle mass for the game, which is good. Anyway, I'm just geeking out on details now. Good job on recreating Lara's routines. 💪🤸‍♀️ P.S. How tall was the tallest person you've ever seen do tumbling/gymnastics routines?

The fact Lara does these with 2 pistols on the sides and a shotgun/rifle and backpack on the back and a pair of heavy trekking boots on the feet is just impossible. But this makes the character close to being a superhero. I can't even imagine leaping for a horizontal bar in a jungle without testing it first much less treat it like a gymnastic equipment.😅

Back in the day when these came out I always wanted to see someone attempt them in real life! Even though Lara is just a video game character who pulls off fantastical tumbling skills, seeing how amazing yours came out cosplay and all brought those memories back for me!

I love this video. I decided to play through tr series about a week or two ago and this video is a nice suprise. Also I like the coparison in the thumbnail. It shows what kind of body it takes to do all these stunts as the games can sometimes make Lara a bit too skinny.

That's so fucking cool, I wish I could do that shit. Well, I'm a 22yo guy, pretty athletic naturally, so technically, I could if I practiced, but I'm lazy I guess. When I see Lara Croft or Spider-Man do shit like that, they look soo.. free, if that makes sense? Doing that must feel amazing!

I applaud your skills and efforts. You're a "strong woman" who's actually strong, because you invested the necessary effort to gain strength. (Grumbles about Mary Sues who get everything handed to them on a silver platter, in contemporary fiction.)
