Gymnast rings are defenitely a game changer when it comes to gaining muscle. Progression is tough to figure out because it forces you to get more creative with your workouts.

Doing some curl or another forever. Rings is creating more growth than I’ve seen in a long time. Amazing! Thanks

Most aesthetic people in my opinion. Bodybuilders look goofy. Can't run or fight. I'm starting some calisthenics at my own pace as I had multiple issues with back pain, shoulder, elbow etc and I'm 35. Slow and steady wins the race😅

Keep at it! Same here.

Olympic Weightlifters are the most aesthetic physiques, in my opinion
@IcedZer09 ай бұрын
Completely agree! They’re lean and muscular but within the parameters of their bone structure, all geared towards moving their own mass around an apparatus or within a given space.

@@SktSbYou’re clearly speaking about the Chinese who do bodybuilding as part of their training,I doubt you mean someone like Lasha is aesthetic,no disrespect

It's a difference in purpose.

You forgot to mention they are pretty short which favours the pumped biceps aesthetics
@higherresolution449010 ай бұрын
Although this may not be the case, I have heard that gymnasts do chin-ups as a primary strength exercise for biceps.
@matthewroberts19810 ай бұрын
Rope climbing I've heard as the main reason. Lots and lots of rope climbing
@higherresolution449010 ай бұрын
@@matthewroberts198 Yes! I forgot about rope climbing. That is number one for biceps in the gymnastic world.
@justaguy118210 ай бұрын
Honestly, gymnasts rarely do any strength training. Sure, many incorparate a rope climb or two a day(which for most takes about 5 seconds and isnt a chalange, and no one really bothers to add weights for progressive overload) but not much more. Havent seen many chin ups done. Id say the muscles of gymnast are 90% strickly from gymnastics skills. (Ex gymnast for 10 years)
@higherresolution449010 ай бұрын
@@justaguy1182 It makes perfect sense what you say. Especially when you consider that high-level gymnasts have a split routine of three hours in the morning at 3 hours in the afternoon. It seems like any strength training exercises would would be detrimental to progress.

Are there gymnastic gyms for adults in the U.S?
@brianfitch54699 ай бұрын
Yes they maybe hard to find depending on your area. Ive had to settle for just getting some rings and training on them myself.

Seriously hard to find gymnastics gyms in the U.S. I've been looking myself n it's difficult. Or expensive..
