I think a undefeated supercross is nearly impossible due to the start is so critical and the race length is short and the tracks are so tight and technical. Outdoor tracks are longer and more fast pace and have more time to catch up and make passes. Nobody has started last in supercross around the first corner and win the race, it has happened in outdoors

Almost impossible to go undefeated in supercross way to many variables. Weather lappers and being perfect every round nearly impossible. I think chase is going to find another gear next year and i am thinking viale if he goes 450 next year has a marvin vibe. Smooth and fast. And im thinking justin cooper will get his groive next year

Jett will win this season with a touch of luck, his dominance is coming. He could do a perfect SX season in 2025 based on his current form.
@cadenbauer6704
@cadenbauer6704 5 ай бұрын
I think the main reason why Jett went undefeated outdoors last year is because he has the “send it” type attitude and riding style like Deegan does but also has the PERFECT form and control like a Chase Sexton. He’s the perfect mixture of being “out of control” while being in control. Meanwhile in supercross, he doesn’t have those high speed sections like you do outside to run away from everyone.

Agree 100%. Jett has come from competing in mxgp that has huge fast open tracks, then finally got used of ama tracks and dominated, now in supercross anything can happen in these tight tracks. 1 lapse in concentration or mistake leads to massive loss in position. He's slowly getting back on top. Avagud1

Correct me if im wrong but Ken roczen was the first person to pass jett twice and lead a lap in his first race back so tomac wasnt the only missing link because ken was gunning for him once he finally got back and if he was there the whole season he could've potentially placed higher than chase

I don’t think we’re ever going to see a perfect Supercross season, unless the field really REALLY gets depleted by injuries. The starts are insanely important, the races are shorter, the tracks are more technical and mistakes are more costly, and the top guys in the field have lap times separated by tenths to a second, compared to multiple seconds

A lot of things would have to go right for anyone to go perfect in SX. The start is way more important, and with the current track designs making the tracks less difficult there's less places to make up time. SX is designed to keep the racing close and give slower guys a better chance. I don't see anyone going perfect in SX. Not even Jett. I do think he will have some absolutely dominant seasons where he wins maybe 13 or 14 rounds though.

There are a couple of comments now talking about how Jett's perfect season came about due to a poor field of competition. Have any of you looked at the quality of the field in the season Stewart went perfect? The next best rider was a 34 year old Tim Ferry. It was without a doubt the worst field in history.

He will never go undefeated in SX , he already did do it outdoors . Jett came up at the perfect time , all the most dominant riders are at the end of their careers and will not take risks and nobody new is raising any eyebrows. The fastest guy will usually always win outdoors because there's a lot more time to race , not so in SX and one bad start or mishap can doom you from being undefeated .

Thats a bold statement, i mean everyone raced jett in outdoors except tomac right? They had their chance to beat him... 3 years times, tomacs, webb, anderson,roczen maybe AP... could all be gone... who replaces them? Prado is confirmed to be on a kawi for 2025, deegan maybe.... the talent coming through is certainly not up to the standard that jett has set.

Na man if you can tell me with a straight face Chase was not juiced out of his mind when he was racing tomac...I have a video for you to watch thats undeniable. His trainer is Peter Park who got busted with Lance Armstrong. He got the supercross championship handed to him by Eli then he was half the rider he was whe he was racing Jett. Even if he wasn't Eli was beating him just as much or more then Jett was each race so don't give me that crap.

@@MikeFox135 Kenny won what 1 race the previous season? Nobody else missing had won a 450 moto in years. Jett went perfect against a 450 mx champion 2 450SX champions and a couple of 250mx champions. Eli has lost motos at some point in his career to every factory guy Jett beat last year. If you put Eli in Jett's place there's no way he would have gone perfect. He's not consistent enough at starts and he doesn't make those quick first lap passes that Jett does. Hell, Chase probably would have caught and passed him once or twice like he did the year before. You can discredit Jett all you want but he did something Eli never could.

Unfortunately it will be 10 more years of this. Unless someone really good comes out of the 250 class. The current 450 class is too old and the young guys aren’t good enough. ac didn’t make a good transition to 450s, Justin cooper hasn’t really shown anything. The person who should be competing for the championship is mentally broken. Sexton is done, won’t win another championship ever again. Not because he is too slow, but because Jett broke him mentally.
