@@ivanolsen8596 I've seen KZfaq clips on same. Before I had to move ashore, I spent a lifetime sailing. Not much in common there with commercial fishermen.

@@dunruden9720 My father was both, he was a "Cape Horner" who left the sea when power took over, he became a farmer but the call of the sea was too much, at every opportunity he was in a boat and off fishing. Later he built his own boat, did everything but install the auxillary engine, built the hull, fitted it out and lofted the sails. He and I, an 8 year old, spent as much time as we could on the water. We would be out of sight of land after drifting all day and dad would point the way to steer while he dealt with the catch, soon as land was sighted we,d be spot on course, no chart, no compass, just dads expert seamanship.
