few days ago this was in my recommendations, now I have watched 20+ videos from this channel, and now I'm hooked.

Most times when you have a grill in back of a grocery store/ bait shop, you know the food is going to be awesome.

I like how the kitchen is just like a home kitchen, not an industrial one.

I love Texas. Just subscribed. I'm disgusted with the news of the day so I'm very happy to have stumbled onto your site. Thank you.

My 19 yr old nephew came by with 3 friends from college. They wanted something to eat but didn't know what. I made them fried beef bologna sandwiches. They never tried them and loved them. Later, I ordered 4 large pizza's. They ate them for dinner. About 11pm, I went into the kitchen and they were all eating cereal. Still hungry! Food is the one thing worth sharing. College kids eat ramen noodles and canned ravioli.

I'm so happy places like this still exist, it almost brings tears to my eyes. God bless.

I just Texas Country Reporter wish there were more shows like you I watch you on R F D T V love every story you all do. This one remains be of my mother in law’s country story in GA breakfast/ lunch few grocery / Gas people setting around a stove telling tails some true some make up miss it keep your story coming LOVE ALL

We have a few places like this around here. They don't have everything and the prices are higher but I'll gladly do my shopping there than anywhere else. Folks need to take care of their communities more than ever nowadays. Friends mean more than money any day of the week. And So Be It!

This reminds me of the small town where I grew up, the store, bar, pool hall and dance hall were all in one building, called the little red store!

I don’t understand how this channel isn’t huge. 9 out of 10 of the videos are awesome and really I think show what Texas is all about.

I grew up going to H&H grocery when I was a kid now it's a landmark that's gone from Waxahachie it is now a tattoo shop and just a fond memory

I’m from the West Coast of Canada yet I find myself falling in love with these videos. In BC small diners grocers and cafes like these are found in every town but sadly they are fading away. Someday I hope to open a BBQ drive in joint using ingredients grown/raised on my own farm at one of these side of the highway stops on long drives.

been a working Cowboy on the family ranch in Wichita Falls , a surfer , fisherman and live aboard Yacht owner on Padre Island for the past 30 yrs. owned a s**T load of hot rods and exotic sports cars , a wild a*s Cowboy that loves everything Traditional Texas , have always frequented local classic establishments , Snapkas drive in , Astor restaurant , Gates donuts , Hamlin pharmacy grill etc , i will continue to strive to maintain everything Texas Heritage

Google Maps (street view), Captured Feb 2021, shows this place, now with garage doors to the left and right of the entry door, is closed. Sad! Sounds like the demolition and replacement of US Hwy 77 killed them off.
